05-06-2023 19:34In January 2023, we made a significant investment in purchasing a Husqvarna 770 Hot saw worth over $1000. As a business operating for a couple of years, we recognized that renting such equipment was becoming impractical, given that the cost of one month's rental equals approximately 50% of the saw's value. Unfortunately, due to the seasonal nature of our concrete business, we had limited usage of the saw during the winter months. However, towards the end of March, one of our employees accidentally dropped the saw off the back of a truck while driving on the highway, resulting in significant damage to the shaft and rendering it unusable. At the time of purchase, we opted for the insurance offered by the company, which cost approximately $250. This insurance was marketed to cover 100% of the costs in the event of accidents, even in cases where the equipment is completely destroyed. Based on this understanding, we brought the saw back to Northern Tool in mid-April 2023 for repairs. Regrettably, despite several months passing since then, the saw remains unrepaired, sitting unused at the back corner of Northern Tool Supply's premises. On my second visit within a three-month period, the staff informed me that Husqvarna is not currently providing the necessary parts and mentioned their dissatisfaction with the reliability of Husqvarna equipment. They then suggested that I consider purchasing a steel version of the saw instead. To my surprise, the individual in the parts department shared that it would have been more advantageous if the saw were completely demolished, as this would have qualified for a replacement under the insurance. Feeling frustrated with this situation, I decided to retrieve the saw while expressing my disappointment to the company. Consequently, I have lost faith in their ability to provide adequate customer support and stand behind the insurance they promote. Given my dissatisfaction and the absence of a satisfactory resolution, I am contemplating reporting this matter to the Attorney General of Missouri and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It is disheartening, as we could have invested the money spent on rentals with United Rental Company towards purchasing a new saw had we been aware of the issues we would encounter. To conclude, I strongly advise caution when considering purchases from Northern Tool, based on my unfortunate experience.

04-02-2023 00:49We just bought a 6x10 trailer 30 minutes ago from store 482 and when we got it our house to put the front wheel on it we couldn’t because of the hitch mechanism was bent and floored out so bad it would not go on. My husband took it rt back and the store manager told him it was sold as is and was not her problem and would you have to go through the manufacturer about this. He told again we had just purchased it 30 minutes ago even showed her the receipt and still she would not do good on this.The manager Lauren Neyson should not be a manager of store if she can not sell products and stand behind them, an treat customers with the respect they deserve because there other places to buy from
