09-24-2023 16:05They are the most professional and caring employees at this location. The GM is always available and caring about the clients that come in and out of the location. My experience there has always been top tier and pleasant. It makes the full experience of going to a Target enjoyable. When you have employees that care like Jerry (GM) and Mario it’s always a pleasure to go. I live in the north side and drive downtown just to get treated the way you deserve to be. Couldn’t ask for a more better experience ! Thank you Target River north.

09-22-2023 08:07Kenny who was working last night was freaking ACES! She helped me out with my Starbucks mugs so I could make a pretty presentation gift. Sadly my receipt didn’t contain a survey otherwise I would have taken it. Kenny deserves a raise! Or at least free Starbies for a month.

06-07-2023 09:45I had a very sour incident with this store so therefore, I will describe that incident first before continuing on with an objective review of the store. A few weeks ago, It was my first time in the store and I was shopping for pots/pans along with other household essentials. I was walking around the store, finding what I need when I took a pause to open up my shopping list, to my surprise I realized that I was being followed and eventually confronted by the security guard (who left his post at the front). It's unfortunate that someone like me (Asian wearing expensive tech gadgets) could be profiled, I can't imagine the harassment coming towards customers who are or are presenting as less privileged. At the time, I didn't want to escalate anything further so I just stopped my shopping and checked out (total was +$80 for what it's worth). When I came back today, I brought my concern up to security (different guard) and he rudely brushed me off without even apologizing for the incident. I then talked to a manager who was very professional about it. She did mention that the security is just on edge due to the area's crime rate. The whole security team needs retraining on professionalism. To segue, I usually shop at the Cabrini Green store (a store in a higher-crime area) and never had any issues. That store also more closely resembles what you expect from Target. The options at this store are incredibly limited and prices are very high (although I'm not 100% sure if that's because they don't carry the more affordable options or if their prices really are higher). The centralized location of this store makes it somewhat nice to grab routine stuff like paper towels or chips but I can't recommend it for bigger purchases such as cooking or cleaning equipment.

05-30-2023 05:14Very clean store with a good array of different items available. From what very limited interactions I had with the staff, they seemed friendly enough. All in all, it's not a bad place to stop in and get some stuff quickly, though it might not have enough for a massive shopping list.
