This is more a review of CEX in general, although I have encountered many of these problem at this branch. You can find some really good deals but buyer beware, I have experienced the following issues over the years: They do not clean anything (filthy products sold as grade A stock) Multi-disc games with discs missing Severely damaged and non-working games (one was put back on sale after I returned it!) Selling games that require activation and have already been activated (therefore useless) Games with missing manuals (no warning and sold at full price) Games with reproduction boxes (no warning and sold at full price) Price hiking based on availability (2nd hand PS5s and Steam Decks at £800!) Poor price comping, often selling used products more than the cost of buying new. Low trade in prices. This varies, markups can be over 1,000% on games. It is really down to you as the buyer to look out for these poor business practices and not get conned.

Very awful customer service. Go to lie to you about the price and quality of my item that I wanted to sell and when I went the next day, they did not take my item in and said that they won’t buy it. Customer care was horrible and had to wait 2 hours for nothing. There was one woman in particular, who specifically lied to me about my product, and when I went to her again, she didn’t even bother to apologize. I will never shop here again. Don’t recommend shopping here as well because most products price are more expensive than eBay.
