Radisson Blu Hotel, Edinburgh City Centre

Great, super comfortable beds, immaculate well furnished rooms, shower is brilliant, can't find a thing to moan about. Downstairs, the reception staff are indeed so efficient at dealing with customers during check in etc,etc when we checked in there was 3 families in each queue and all arrived at the same time .. we were behind these families and every one of those families came away from the desk smiling saying thank you, thank you. Dealt with efficiently, speedially and pleasantly. Bar staff are just great so pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately I checked out of my room and about 30 mins later while waiting on my son and his partner, I suddenly realised that I had left my wedding ring in our room and I panicked. I went to the check-in desk to report it and was waiting to speak to one of the girls when the concierge suddenly approached me and said are you ok or is there anything I can help you with ? I must have looked worried and nervous, and I blurted out what had happened .. he immediately said follow me sir as he headed to the lifts.took me to our room and there it was.. my ring under a napkin and it was him that found it. You know I can't wait to visit Edinburgh again and no prizes for guessing where we will be staying. Well done one and all at radisson blu Edinburgh.

Everything from check in with the lovely Lexi to check out was excellent. Lovely room, yummy breakfast and dinner was really good and reasonably priced. Hotel immaculately clean and every member of staff so helpful and friendly. This was more than we would usually pay for a one night stay but well worth the extra. Will definitely be back.

We thought this hotel was excellent. It looks like a historic building from the outside but is very modern on the inside. We stopped in a superior foom on the second floor. Sound proofing was excellent, we weren't troubled by any noise. The hotel serves an excellent buffet breakfast. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Ocation was perfect - right in the heart of everything on the Royal Mile. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.
