Best Western Plus Hotel Montreal

Best western center ville Quebec Reception and dining area staff were helpful and friendly. . But house keeping service was bad. Toileties and towels topped up but room not cleaned at all.

These are smallest hotel rooms in Canada I've stayed in. Very European. Not a lot of room if you need space for work stuff. Shower heads are typically low - what's with Canadian hotels and low shower heads? At least the water was hot and pressure was good. Staff were friendly, bilingual and check in was quick. Included breakfast was decent. Hard-boiled eggs, toast, cereal, yogurts, ok coffee-like drink plus juice.

It's the employees here that really made the difference for me. It was a late night check-in and the front desk staff member was kind and attentive. The rooms have been updated in the last decade, more or less and the bed was comfortable. There was a slight odour in my room upon checking in but it was super noticeable. I just wonder what went on in the room there before my stay.

Booked this hotel because of the proximity to MTELUS, it was a 3min walk. Just stayed one night as it was for a concert and it was perfect for that need. The room wasn’t huge or anything, but clean and came with all the necessities plus some, including: blow dryer, safe, iron and board, hangers, mini fridge and other stuff. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating and on check in give you a bag with waters and granola bars and stuff which I think was a nice touch. They also offer parking for $30 a night (not a bad price for what I saw around us) and it was valet which was nice and in the morning during check out got us the car very quickly. This hotel exceeded my expectations based on reviews I had read and the price compared to other places around. Definitely a good price for what you get. I do wish breakfast would have been included, but that doesn’t effect my review.

First stay at this Best Western on Saint-Catherine St. Love the location, and it's quiet considering the area. Rooms are soundproofed. Barrie-UQAM metro is about 4 blocks away which is great as it connects you to wherever you need to go. Stayed 3 nights in a room with a King bed. Adequate size, comfy bed, premium bedding, bathroom was modern and larger than expected. Very clean premises. Didn't have a lot of interaction with staff but friendly and quick check in. The only odd incident was on the last night of my stay, someone was randomly knocking on doors on the 4th floor at 2 am. And then one call to the room phone with a female voice asking who is this - to which I hung up. Very odd. Restaurant on site.

Decent downtown hotel...nothing overly special. However I did very much appreciate the free coffee. And the free chocolates in the lobby were a nice touch...you never see that anymore.

I think this is the worst experience I ever had period… I booked the room through booking in advance and we even checked in) and than suddenly we got notified that we had to move to another room and we will have a 10% out of our daily rate which was 150+dollars higher than standard rate, I guess they have a range better/worst clients and we were not good to ones. I’m sure everyone had an overbooking issue, but trying to solve your issues by moving family with kids away to smaller room is not correct solution! Even the idea of moving someone from the room they paid for is not the fight one!!!!! So to be honest if you want to be treated poorly your are welcome here…. Ps location is terrible too, so please avoid this place
