10-09-2023 23:50I ordered a 24 wall oven from CAS in September 2022, worth over $2,100. As it was a new European model, no stock was available yet. Not a problem to me. It finally arrived 3 days before Christmas. On arrival, most of the glass in the door was shattered. After a few weeks, the manufacturer decided to replace the entire oven, rather than replace just the door or glass. This one took two months to arrive, through CAS. I hooked it up, and it ran for about 3 seconds before crashing. I spoke with the manufacturer’s Canadian rep this time. They sent their service rep to try to repair it. He confirmed it was properly hooked up, and went through the process of testing the electronics. A new master circuit board was ordered from their supplier in Vancouver. This one couldn’t be programmed. Another board was ordered. And then another. And with the fourth master circuit board, they also replaced the keyboard. It still didn’t work. So for a second time, the manufacturer decided to replace the entire oven, again! This switch would also be done through CAS. By this time, it was almost 10 months since I placed my original order. I was having some thoughts of remodelling my 1960's era kitchen in a few years, and decided I would have more flexibility with a 27 wall oven when the time came. So I decided not to invest in an expensive oven that I’m likely to replace in a few years, and instead, I would get something very basic and a lot less pricey. I went to CAS, expecting a difficult time. Boy, was I ever surprised. Amar, the sales rep who met me at the store, was very understanding, and made my complicated return request happen! I asked for a refund on this high-end oven, and ordered a very basic wall oven (different brand), and an upright deep-freeze. The refund covered the cost of the 2 appliances, plus delivery, and about $100 left over in my favour. The new appliances arrived in 5 days, and all is working great! Thanks Amar for your time and effort to make this once and future customer happy!

08-11-2023 06:08Service exceeded my expectations from walking in until pick up. Max was very pleasant to work with. He listened to my needs for a new dishwasher and got me the best price on the model that would suit my needs. I would recommend seeing him for your appliance needs. My pick up email arrived on the day he predicted and the process went smoothly. I'm very happy with my purchase and will be back when my other appliances need replacing.

05-20-2023 16:34Update: It has now been 2 plus weeks since installing a microwave that was faulty right out of the box. I received a phone call from the shop that has been assigned the repair and it turns out the part needed is on back order and may be months away. I have been told by Canadian appliance that As an authorized retailer, CAS is only able to approve an exchange if authorized by the manufacturer however when I spoke to the manufacturer and they stated that an exchange should be authorized by the retailer. Also, out of curiosity I called several other appliance stores in the area to check on their exchange policy and every single one of them has told me that the accountability of a faulty product right out to the box should not be the responsibility of the customer and that they would do an immediate exchange.... Purchased a built-in microwave, waited a week for it to be shipped to the Saskatoon location (despite website saying in stock), got it installed, and immediately saw that panel was faulty. The clock read 11:62pm instead of 11:52pm. I contacted the salesperson as I assumed that given I had literally just plugged it in, they would just order another one we would do an exchange and then move on. Not the case. I now have to wait for a technician to arrange a time to come to my home to diagnose the issue, then determine if it needs to be replaced. This is not what I want, I would simply like a new microwave to be ordered to swap. I communicated this to the salesperson to no avail as he said this is out of their hands. I've also asked to speak to a manager who I have yet to hear from.

05-14-2023 12:43Fridge purchased by our landlord on late August. Delivered damaged on Sept 1st; unable to open freezer drawer. We were advised a tech would come within 48 hours to assess for repair or replacement and we were assured that this would be rushed because we would be without a fridge until they resolved the situation. We were instructed not to plug the fridge in or warranty would be void and they would then refuse to proceed with repair or replacement. Three weeks later after we had to make multiple follow up inquiries, the tech arrived. After making multiple MORE follow up calls, we were told the fridge would be replaced. After multiple more calls requesting answers, we received an authorization number and told to go to the Saskatoon store and provide that to them. Upon going in as advised, they had no idea what they were supposed to do. The agent said he would consult with a manager and call within 48 hours. No call, so we once again called CAS and was given more runaround. We were told there was no direct number to the store, and all communication must be done by email, or we had to go to the store. Finally, on October 13, our landlord emailed CAS and demanded a refund. She was INSTANTLY accommodated. Throughout this fiasco lasting from 1-Sep to now, we’ve been without a fridge. How this company treats its customers is pitiful.
