10-03-2023 11:52Nothing like sitting there for 40min and signing all the paperwork just to be told once everything was signed that they didn't actually have the phone and that it would be 2-5 business days for them to get it from the warehouse. Thank you for waisting my time and withholding information until you got the contract signed.

05-31-2023 05:57Staff don't know how to do their job. When we explained that we needed a new SIM card because ours was faulty with an error message of no SIM card when the card was in the phone. The staff looked at the SIM card and said it was fine and sent us on our way. We then called our providers Tech support and the first thing they told us to do when we told them we were having the error, was to get a new SIM card! Just do your job!

04-11-2023 02:17Disappointing. I do my research before I make purchases. This time was for a budget phone for my daughter. After reading various reviews and comparisons, the Moto 8 Power was my decision. I wanted to shop local during these times so I was willing to pay more instead of ordering online. When I got to the Mobile Shop the first response I got when I asked for the Motorola was that she didn't like that brand and suggested a Samsung device instead. I was willing to listen to her sales pitch and since it was cheaper I was going to trust her expertise. After confirming the model she was suggesting and doing a quick search myself it was clear this Samsung device was inferior to the Moto in specs (half the storage space, less ram, lower screen resolution and lower battery capacity). Upon pointing this out and saying I'd prefer the Moto instead she brought up a website to compare the Moto, Samsung and an LG phone she was now recommending. By this point I was starting to be in a rush and so after quickly scanning the mostly comparable specs on the LG and hearing it was a fair bit cheaper I went for it (after confirming their 15 day return policy). Of course when I got home and did more research it was clear I should have just stuck with my gut and own research. The LG comes with Android 9 installed and they still have not released an update to 10, apparently late updates are a common problem with LG. The Moto comes with Android 10 installed and is already testing their update to Android 11. All of this wouldn't be so bad, after all there's a lot of phones to keep track of and everyone has their preferences, but when I came back to return the phone it became clear what the real issue was. They didn't have the Moto 8 Power in stock! So, instead of listening to the customer and honestly informing me up front that they didn't have the phone I wanted in stock they wasted my time by talking me into sale I wasn't happy with. Well, instead of just losing a sale they've now lost a customer. I'll be buying the phone I wanted off Amazon where it's $50 cheaper anyway.
