Been here a couple times as I've always gone to the Richmond locations. I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of products this location has. This is a good thing! I love walking through isles. Washroom is unbelievably clean! Comparing to the one we have here in Richmond. Both locations have run down dirty washrooms! I love the scenery and the background music as I went through the walk-a-lator. Good call on that! A couple things that turned a 5 star rating to a 4 are: The product that I was looking for, I did not find, and parking is not free... Actually, another one would be, there is a greeter, who does nothing but stare at you!

I absolutely avoid coming here at all costs for one major reason: The security guard. I cannot for the life of me express how absolutely tight these folks are. The staff are lovely, selection tends to be alright - but holy $%^#ing $%^$. This GD security guard makes the experience horrible every. single. time. I typically come here to browse their selection of plants, don't find anything particularly interesting, and leave. Without fail, every single time no matter what I'm carrying, I get stopped. Asked for a receipt for nothing in my possession, or items that are clearly purchased elsewhere. I'm not sure if this is just how they treat all their customers, or specifically the Natives that walk in, but it genuinely makes me angry every single time. I purchased these from Winners is not good enough without proof - when typically I buy things from there that I have no intention to return. I've learned that I better get a receipt for any bottle of water I buy nearby, any small phone accessories - and in this case, an entire bath brush. If you're Native, you better anticipate being stopped and investigated for every little thing on your person. I -hate- coming here. Hate hate hate it. +1 star for the customer service staff who are always really nice to me.

No one was available to help in the key section for 15 minutes. When they did finally come they were able to replace my house key, as it was out of stock. I was told it would be back in stock for weeks or even months, for a common house key. The lack of stock is understandable, but that lack of care from the staff there was really disappointing. I felt like I was being a burden trying to use their service.

Parking can be an issue. If you park on the street, entrance to the store is not overly convenient. I wouldn't want to attempted it with crutches or in a wheelchair. The store is massive and has pretty well anything you could think of AND at a competitive price. Staff members to answer any questions are in short supply. This has always been the case with any Canadian tire I have visited. This store offers a large touch-screen marquee with a search feature. A few taps will show you where whatever you want is located, how many are stock, and whether it's an online-only product. KUDOS to CT for this, but it doesn't make up for their well earned reputation of being chronically short-staffed in experienced salespeople. When you do find someone, there's usually one or two people ahead of you. TO THEIR CREDIT, my experience has been that staff members are competently versed in the best and weakest points of a product and gear their advice towards you to getting the best value and fit to your particular needs. Still, unless you have unlimited time and patience, do your own due diligence BEFORE going to the store. This will prove expeditious and at the same time, help ensure your shopping experience doesn't devolve to an exercise in frustration. XoXo

I enjoy shopping here immensely. Especially around the holidays, very exciting for me. I love how they have everything arranged, very easy to find what you are looking for. I can't wait until Halloween to go shopping for stuff or Christmas time, they always have beautiful displays. I love the lights and just about anything you can think of they have it all. Just beautiful.

Extremely Disappointed with Canadian Tire’s Customer Service. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Canadian Tire at this location. I purchased a product that turned out to be defective just a day after purchase. Naturally, I returned to the store to request a refund or exchange. However, neither the supervisor nor the managers were willing to process the return simply because the packaging was open. This was perplexing as I had to open the packaging to use the product in the first place. When I asked for an exchange, I was informed that they did not have the item in stock. Instead of offering a satisfactory solution, they suggested that I purchase other items that I had no need for. The situation escalated to the point where they threatened to call the police and forcibly removed me from the store. To add insult to injury, my shopping was thrown towards me and then out of the store. This experience has left me feeling extremely upset and disrespected. I strongly discourage anyone from shopping at this store due to their poor customer service and lack of understanding towards customers’ rights.

That message for General manager …🤔 I brought my car at 1 o'clock for a general inspection An employee named KEEPER took it from me At first I asked him to finish it sooner if he could help me But he insisted it would take two hours I came back at 3 o'clock but he hadn't finished yet Besides, it took me more than half an hour He also acts very shamelessly and ugly as if he were a robot Then I wanted to go back out the door where many customers and other people were coming But he asked me not to leave in an angry voice I asked him why you spoke so hatefully. While you should behave like a simple human being Therefore, the general manager should be aware of how his employees treat customers The KEEPER should be warned about the way he treats people Because I promised him I would write a review about the rude way he acted 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I recently had an extremely negative experience at the Canadian Tire store which left me feeling shocked and deeply disappointed with their security personnel. As I entered the store to make a routine purchase, I noticed a security guard stationed near the entrance, who immediately made me feel uncomfortable. He had an aggressive demeanor and was glaring at customers with suspicion, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere from the get-go. What was even more alarming was his complete disregard for personal boundaries. He would approach customers with an intimidating demeanor, invading their personal space and causing them obvious discomfort. It was as if he took pleasure in asserting dominance, creating an environment that was neither welcoming nor safe. I was appalled by the utter lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by this security guard. Their behavior not only tarnished my impression of the store but also made me question Canadian Tire's commitment to customer satisfaction and security. I sincerely hope that Canadian Tire takes swift and appropriate action to rectify this situation, ensuring that their customers can shop without fear of mistreatment from their own security personnel. This experience has left me deeply disheartened and reluctant to return to Canadian Tire in the future. It is my hope that this incident serves as a catalyst for positive change in their hiring and training processes, ultimately leading to a safer and more inclusive shopping environment for all patrons.
