10-06-2023 08:48Went in with my sister and daughter today. Bought fabrics, yarns, knitting goods etc. Been here since 2005 when I was still living in Taringa. There is less senior staff on now. So even though the current young staff were friendly and helpful, I feel they lack the knowledge and experience in the field. In all, there are lots of choices to choose frm. Spotlight is the place to go to for fabrics, home and craft supplies.

09-16-2023 16:34Spotlight never disappoint, they always have everything I need for knitting, crochet, needlework, basic supply of painting watercolours and acrylic. Large variety of bedding linen, pillows, quilts, coverlets. Big selection of artificial flowers and greenery for office or home. The fabrics are wonderful from cotton, polyester, silk ,Satin etc. This year they have a lot of affordable decorative items and printed wall prints. What surprised me are the fascinators there’s so many this year as well as floral headbands. I can spend hours here.

05-05-2023 04:33The entry into this hotel looked promising, but the hotel staff that greeted us were extremely underwhelming. The Japanese guy could not communicate important information to hotel guests and the American guy on the front desk knew so little about the hotel that I wondered if he'd just walked in off the street for a joke, except he wasn't at all funny. So here's a few things that annoyed me: one is no one could answer basic hotel questions, no one helps you with your bags, and another negative is that you have to pay 550 yen each time you enter both the gym or pool even when you're a guest here. Then in addition to that the pool is only open from 1.30 to 8.30pm. These are the worst hours for hotel guests and it's currently 33 degrees in Kyoto. So then when you get to the pool it is warm and the air is humid so it is not refreshing at all. Seriously disappointed because it wasn't cheap accommodation and I feel really let down by the whole experience.
