CPR Cell Phone Repair Glen Carbon

Front desk worker was very kind and seemed willing to help, but when owner came out to tell me they would not fix the phone (which has had issues since they replaced the screen), he was incredibly rude. I acknowledged that it has been awhile since the appointment, but there was not a time limit on the warranty. He said it was voided because the phone has been dropped. Who doesn’t drop their phone? The screen is not cracked. They wouldn’t have even known that if I had not told them. It’s actually irrelevant to the issue I was asking them to fix. I repeat: I was not asking them to fix anything from it being dropped. The issue is that the screen isn’t on correctly and doesn’t recognize my touch sometimes, which of course is frustrating. It has been an issue ever since they replaced it. I didn’t expect them to fix it for free, but was frustrated that it was still full price. It was as if they couldn’t stand to be told that their prior work wasn’t perfect. I don’t doubt that most of their screen repairs are done well - but the issue is that if they aren’t, they cannot accept this as a possibility and will belittle the customer and blame them for the issue. I found that to be the opposite of good business. I don’t think I’ve ever been spoken to that rudely in a retail setting, and I’m honestly still pretty shaken up by it. I notice that in other reviews when the owner is called out for being rude, he retorts back that the customer was the problem. I fully expect that, even if it is unfair. It’s too bad, I love supporting small business but this one will never get my support or recommendation again. They could have honored the warranty, they could have compromised and given me a discount … instead, the owner chose to repeat that I should have called earlier, and when I said I would have loved to, but I was traveling and have been extremely busy. He replies, “Really, you don’t have time to make a simple phone call?” So rude. I came into the store, because honestly i thought if I called and told them what was going on, they’d say “bring it in, we need to look at it.” And yes, this was the first time I’d had time during their hours to do that. Not all customers live in town and have free time during the day. Should that mean we don’t get good service?

Excellent service, communication, dedication to helping us out. These folks are top notch. I'm soooo glad we didn't send the iPhone to Apple to repair as they'd of just replaced it and we'd of lost all of the photos and other data. 1000% recommend this shop. I hope I don't see them often, but they will be my first choice in cell phone problems from now on.

Great customer service!! I had a cracked ipad screen that was fixed promptly. The employee even offered to apply the screen protector purchased from a 3rd party. Will definitely come back for future needs.

I crack the glass screen on my phone, so I brought it in to have the screen replaced. The first screen didn't work out well because the colors were super and there were other issues. The second one they put on it fine. Technology is challenging at times.

Brought my IPhone 2022 SE in for charging port issues, I was sure it was broken. The gentleman behind the counter took it into the back and found that it had some debris built up in the port and cleaned it. He showed me that it charged great once again, and said I owed him nothing. He was incredibly polite and professional. I will definitely be coming back if I ever need a repair!

I only regret not having cash to slip to the guy who cleaned my charging port for $0. He deserved a five or a handy or something. 100% think you sure go here first.
