Reliable Appliance Service & Dryer Venting

Bob and Laurie arrived early. Within just a few minutes Bob had the dryer apart and the problem diagnosed. He had the correct parts with him and the repair was complete in no time. The price was more than reasonable. Way better than trying to use You Tube as an instructor! We now have clean and DRY clothes!

Bob and Laurie are great! They repaired my dryer which didn’t heat and also my oven which stopped working. I appreciate how Bob tries to offer assistance over the phone first before coming out to repair. They come out when they say they will, are very friendly, shows and explains what they are doing and charges a fair price. Thanks to them, we didn’t need to purchase two new appliances this year!

A+ Appliance Repair I’ve hired numerous appliance repair companies over the years to repair an assortment of broken appliances. I was not happy with any of them. When my washer AND dryer broke simultaneously, I conducted a thorough online search for an appliance repair service. I ended up calling Reliable Appliance Service in Stratford because of the many excellent customer reviews. The owner, Bob, was very accommodating over the telephone and scheduled a call as soon as he could to evaluate my appliances. As it turns out, I am 100 percent pleased with Bob and Laurie. They are not only honest, but beyond knowledgeable. In fact, Bob provided me with a crash course in washers and dryers! In addition, he fixed my dryer for a reasonable fee. Unfortunately, my washer was not worth fixing, but he advised me every step of the way about the kind of washer to purchase. I never questioned him, because, as I already stated, he is honest. Hopefully, I won’t require any appliance repair in the future, but if I do, I have Bob’s number handy. I wouldn’t call anyone else! Highly recommended! THANK YOU, BOB, AND TEAM!!!!

Bob u0026 Laurie were incredibly kind and so quick to respond to the issues we were experiencing with our washer and dryer. They got to our house within 20 minutes of us calling and everything was fixed same-day! We had such a positive experience with them that we called them when we started to experience issues with our oven. Our oven issue wasn't straight forward and instead of charging us outright by coming out to look at it in person, they jumped on a call to walk through the issue, discuss how we could further troubleshoot on our end, what the possible pricing/timeline would be, etc. There were no surprises and everything was thoroughly talked through! We won't go to anyone else!!

Bob and Laurie were awesome. My dryer was not heating I called them and they came the same day had the part with them. Cleaned my dryer replaced the part and let me know what the issue was. Very professional and such nice people. I am saving their info and will definitely use them again. A friend of mine needs repairs on an appliance and I quickly gave him Bob and Laurie! I had hired someone to put in a dryer vent for me. I was nervous about the safety of a vent going through my attic so read up on safety and code. The first guy i hired promised to do the work as was specified in the code but put in materials that could have caused a fire. I called Bob and Laurie on the recommendation of a friend to see if they could fix the dangerous vent that had been installed. They showed up to take a look, were friendly, patient and confirmed the safety issues (which i knew because i had read about it) and recognizing how urgently i needed my dryer hooked up, came back the next day and fixed the vent properly, talking me through why they did each step, and cleaned up after themselves. I wish i knew about them in the first place as they charged significantly less than the first guy i hired and knew what they were doing.
