I really wish I could have a better review for this salon, but I didn’t even get to try their services. I reached out to book an appointment on September 13th and they scheduled me in for October 28th at 9am…just for me to show up at 9am to the salon closed with the opening hours at 10am. How are you going to schedule me in at a time that you’re not open? And if the hours recently changed, why wouldn’t you call and rebook your existing appointments? I’m absolutely furious at this level of disorganization and the fact that I waited 6 weeks for an appointment that apparently doesn’t exist. This is completely unacceptable.

I feel lucky to have found Love Alchemy Salon when I moved to London and I’m now a regular client. Beatriz does an amazing job and I’ve received so many compliments on my cut and colour. She is kind, very knowledgeable and happy to offer advice if needed. The salon uses high quality, ethical, organic products which is very important to me. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience getting a haircut with Raquel. It's my first time coming in but I've always been eyeing this place. Once I moved closer to the area, I'm glad I was able to make an appointment. She was accomodating and very friendly. I had a great experience and I really love how my hair turned out. She also gave me some tips for keeping my natural curls looking nice. Very grateful. 💕

Best salon in London. I love the organic products. Des makes my hair look amazing every time. Jenny gives a great massage, meeting all of my needs. The vibe of the salon is calm and relaxing. Great experience from start to finish. Can't wait to come in again.

Terrible customer service. I had an appointment booked and they canceled the DAY BEFORE and I was told “we can schedule you for half a month later”. I told them I can’t wait that long since I had a wedding coming up and asked them to give me an appointment with another stylist. However, they very conveniently refused to accommodate me because the other stylist is busy. And I was like well???? You guys made a commitment and if you can’t fulfill that you should at least provide some sort of compensation for wasting a customer’s time. They refused to provide any sort of compensation. Left me scrambling around at the last minute :) Also, aside from this, it’s usually difficult to reach out to them since they don’t answer calls. If you leave a voicemail or an email, they won’t get back to you. Just a bunch of unprofessional people.

I went to Love Alchemy for the first time on Thursday and it was incredible. I got a colour and cut with Beatriz but it was a complete restyle and she did amazing! She was very knowledgeable, took so much time and care while cutting and styling my layers so they sat perfectly. We went through the colour book together to get the right look. I love my hair but she was also a very kind and personable woman. Very easy to talk to! It was a great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

Love Alchemy is a beautiful salon. I always have a great experience with Raquel. If you have curlh hair, SHE IS THE STYLIST YOU NEED. Raquel is a curl specialist and is amazing at what she does. They have other services such as massage, tattoo and even a cute boutique with jewelry and other items.

I really wanted to like this place but I do not recommend you come here. I took my 7 year old daughter and she has wavy-curly hair for wash, trim and blow dry. Her hair was tangled, and this week it's been summer camp, with a pool, so it had knots. So I wanted her to have a nice experience and feel her hair super flowy. Well first when we got there she says I WAS JUST ABOUT TO LEAVE... Mmm, what? We booked an appointment in the morning for 3:15PM and arrived at 3:13PM. She said she didn't know and it wasn't in the system. That's not my problem though, and already I felt not welcomed. Then she says my daughter's hair is BAD. That word... bad, she said it twice. Because it was tangled. I don't care if someone's hair has gum and dreads on it, you DO NOT say that about someone's hair. So unprofessional and judgemental. Then during the appointment my daughter stated several times that it hurt, from the brushing, the heat from the blow drier and her neck at the sink. It was a horrible experience. Instead I have taken my daughter a few times to Allure Hair Spa in Wortley Village. Allure is amazing and they would never ever ever say anything harmful about your hair or give unsolicited advice, no matter how it is. Allure Hair Spa is my regular salon but they were fully booked, and now I wish I'd waited for them. The woman who did my daughter's hair spoke spanish, didn't catch her name but I do hope someone speaks to her about this.
