Ryan was very disrespectful and dismissive. Highly recommend not to go to this salon. I got up and left without getting a haircut.

Really enjoyed my experience with Mai as my stylist. Her candid opinions, though brutally honest, offered valuable insights for improvement that my hair needs. Ask for Mai if you want a skilled stylist who doesn't hold back.

I always get exactly what I ask for when Kim styles my hair. I bring my hubby, kids, friends, neighbors and she nails it every time. She can cut, color and style any length and age! Guys haircut $15!!!! $30 for wash, cut and style. $85+ for color and style. This is a really basic salon in a strip mall in Garden Grove, no frills. I don’t need to pay for a salons overhead, I just need my hair to look good!

I absolutely love coming here to Ryan! He’s so amazing and your hair is left feeling fresh and amazing. He’s been my go to guy since 2015 and I will continue to do business with him. He’s so honest and will let you know what cut/color best goes with your face if you’re unsure.

Had the best haircut with Mai she really took her time and delivered on exactly what I wanted. Very reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend coming here as opposed to paying twice as much to go to some fancy salon in Newport Beach because you will have a better haircut here. I am so impressed with my haircut and beachy waves!

I am not sure if Ryan was having a bad day or he is simply rude and doesn't have experience cutting thick hair. I walked in and was rudely greeted with a 'sit down' when I said I was here for my appointment. No smile and that poor attitude continued throughout my consultation and cut. I said I have not had a good experience when thinning shears were used in the past, resulting in broken hair to which he very rudely commented saying 'broken?! you won't get the layered look without thinning. It is way too thick'. I trusted his 'professional' advice but he clearly has no experience with thick hair AT all and the rude consultation should have had me running. The shampoo service literally was 1 minute long and left my hair feeling extremely greasy. As the cut began and we made small talk, he asked what I did for work and when I replied with 'business', he immediately said 'gas station?' (I am Indian). I was speechless at this level of blatant racism. To add to that, the cut was extremely poor, very choppy, and he used a flat iron as he clearly could not manage a blow out. I am beyond disgusted and will spend months trying to grow out this mess. I needed to get out ASAP and ended up leaving a 20% tip. Total cost: $60 ($50 haircut + $10 tip). Unfortunately it was a cash transaction and I cannot do a chargeback. I definitely do not feel comfortable going back to claim a refund. PS: This review took a lot to write as his blatant racism was appalling and completely unexpected. For any brown/black sisters out there, stay away.

I had Mai and she was awesome! She very patiently discussed with me hair length and shape options and took the time to do every trim and straightening right. Would come again

I just had a cut my first color by Ryan and he is amazing. I’m literally in the parking lot writing this, I’m so happy! I came in at 9am and I let him know I normally wear curly and wanted to keep my length, which he did very detailed. He lightened my hair beyond my expectations. I’m so happy with my hair I feel like a whole new person. Thank you so much Ryan!
