09-30-2023 15:14Princess Chicken was fantastic and Sweet and Sour Chicken was very good too. Potstickers were very yummy. Sodas seemed a bit watered down, but perfectly fizzy. Crab Rangoon was just ok - no visible crab and bland. Service was great! The manager was very nice and the guy who delivered our food and drinks was prompt. We'll definitely be back

09-21-2023 12:21The princess chicken is my favorite dish. However, over the last 6months I don't order it's not fresh, the chicken is hard and old, it's overpriced, and the past 2 times iv ordered my mother and myself had food poisoning. Firsr time we didn't think it was the food, 2nd time, we knew it was the food from yen ching. I called to make them aware and spoke to someone who didn't speak English at all, I brought the food into them and they couldn't have cared less. Needless to say we found another Chinese restaurant to order from, that charges less than $16 for a small dish. Whoever took over this place has done a horrible job in every way

07-12-2023 11:28Tried this restaurant on New Year's Day as most restaurants were closed. We love Asian food, so we took a chance, and we were glad we did! Love the Empress Chicken - very much recommended this menu. I have never tried this at any Chinese restaurant, so I can't compare, but the chicken tasted so good with the sauce that came with it. We also had pork dumplings, mongolian beef with onions, beef and vegetables, and shrimp Lo Mein. They all tasted way better than expected. The portions are bigger than most other Chinese restaurants that we have been to. The decor inside the restaurant is interestingly colorful.. it has printed designs of weird looking masks that my kids were kind of scared.. however, overall, it was a good dining experience.

It is only days old fried grease' I could not tell the difference tween my beef lo mein or mr chicken w veg entre's. the Pot Stickers weren't even sealed. the rangoons were wetter than the stickers!!! the egg rolls were from another time ago but oiled up for a test drive....HORRIBLE FOOD

05-31-2023 22:41Went here for lunch after surgery and didn’t realize that they closed at 2 o’clock nor was I told that they closed at 2 o’clock and re-opened so I ordered my food and of course I just had surgery so I’m moving slow eating slow still trying to wake up from Just having anesthesia,I ordered soup and a Poopoo platter. Before the food got to the table I got a phone call in the middle of my lunch and answer my phone call next thing you know I’m trying to hop off the phone call super fast because they are telling us that they’re leaving! I had no idea they were leaving they literally turned the lights off on us I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all Super super rude and on top of it they are outrageously priced. Their lunch is $12 and up. Really miss the one that used to be out by the pyramids they have exceptional customer service and they were always friendly they remembered your names too bad they’re gone don’t waste your time here! Anja VETOES!

04-17-2023 03:17Called ahead of time to get what came with the lunch meals and to see what all vegetables were included with the Yum Yum Noodles. Picked up the food and got back to the office, soups and springs rolls were not in the bag and the Yum Yum Noodles were not what was discribed. (I was told noodles, yum yum sauce, broccoli, water chestnuts, carrots, onion, snow peas, cabbage, bamboo shoots and chicken and I got carrots and cabbage with a brown sauce with shirmp) Called to get the missing items and to get the correct food. The manager said to bring the food back and he would personally make it correctly. When I got there it was my fault because its my first time odering food from there and I should have asked, when I did. They would not make me the correct food (I was told to pick out the shirmp) and gave me two soups (that were slimmy in texture) and three lattes in a can that expired in June.

03-26-2023 16:26I have been eating at Yen Chen for 20 years about once a week. The new owners are running it into the ground. They use a 3rd party call service to take orders over the phone. My order is wrong most of the time when I go to pick it up. Today they didn't even have my order when I showed up. The only reason I put up with this is because the food is amazing. I don't want to see this ruin their business. I hope they can get it fixed before it does.
