Was on my way to a hardware store, saw this place, decided to stop and try to support local over big box,, walked around for 15 minutes trying to get someone to help me. Guy at the desk seemed more interested in talking religion with the other guy at the counter than helping me find what I needed. Looked around enough to be irritated and left to go find what I needed elsewhere.

I bought all my lumber for an large addition/ remodel, 2x4’s TJI, OSB LVL etc. not only was it good quality, but it was a bit less than HD. They shipped out extra TJI for blocking. They delivered with a fork lift into a very trick condition. Tom followed up with phone calls to make sure I had what I needed. Same great treatment with door shop from Dave.

Disappointed with customer service and delivery. We ordered enough lumber and trex to build a deck. Delivery truck backed up and just dumped all the wood in my driveway. No regard for damaging the product. Also, once we went through the trex, several pieces were damaged, chipped and had dents in them. When we went to speak to customer service about it, they declined to reimburse or exchange these trex boards for undamaged ones. We did not select the boards, but ordered them and Stringham selected them. Guess they wanted to get rid damaged products on their unsuspecting customers. It was at least $100 dollars in damaged trex boards they refused to replace. They responded by saying if we did not notice it when the truck dumped it in our driveway that it was our issue. This is why I shop at Homedepot and Lowes and why many of these smaller companies are going to go out of business. Very disappointed with their service and quality of product they passed off to an unsuspecting customer.

Don't go there to buy Doug Fir. Bottom of the barrel product. I made the mistake of starting to work with it so I couldn't return the lumber. Lowes lumber was surprisingly double the quality. I wasted allot of money by trying to buy from a local store. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Stringham Lumber is awesome, been dealing with them for decades and they always take great care of us contractor's ....... I guess now due to Covid-19 they're just for contractors or wholesale only

Good place to get things that Home Depot and Lowe's might not have. And many lumber items are cheaper than the big stores. Also the yard guys are the best in the business!

Price wise, this is the place to go. They've also had everything in stock that we needed so far. They definitely aim to serve contractors, so if you're not a contractor, be prepared to confidently tell them what you want. They close at 4:30, but we've gotten there at 4:20 before to get a small order and they had closed early, so that was pretty inconvenient.

Aways available to help with questions and to supply special order items. Especially now with the way the supply chain is, Stringham seems to be able to get what we need in large quantities.
