Sopranos Grill

it's been a few years since I posted this warning for folks and I am re-posting this complaint for the benefit of others who might be ripped off by the owners of this place - several family members were regulars there for years before this happened, and they know us well, which makes this all the more galling... a family member gave me a gift certificate from sopranos - it had an expiration date three months out, which is ILLEGAL - when I pointed this out to the owner's son who knew us well, he said that's just the way it is, along with a super-lame excuse that it was to protect them from photocopies! we used the certificate sooner than we otherwise might have, and discovered that while we (appropriately) paid sales tax and the mandatory, unannounced 20% tip on it, SO DID OUR FAMILY MEMBER WHEN THEY PURCHASED IT! it's a shame that this happens as their food was always to our liking!

This is the only Italian place I want to eat at when I'm in North Carolina! When I entered the doors I felt at home. The owner and his parents were amazing when it came to service. My family and I went there for my niece's 17th birthday and it was unbelievable. The white sangria was amazing! The food was great portions and cooked from scratch like you were in Italy yourself! I've never been to an Italy restaurant where they checked off everything on my list until I went here. I'll definitely be back with my wife so she can enjoy what I experienced.

Overall 1.8 / 10 - Usually, I would give a full review of the experience and a breakdown of the food, however this business does not deserve this. DO NOT GO HERE - They add on the gratitude to the line item bill and won’t tell you. It’s just dishonest, sneaky, deceptive, sly, and unethical. Also, the food is reheated and everything tasted very weird. The food alone deserves a 2 star, which makes sense why they are charging gratitude in the bill.. Because no one likes this place. No pokestops as well.

My family and I have really enjoyed our experiences here. In my opinion, an underrated gem! The manager running the front is attentive and funny. We enjoy chatting with him when we come in. The food is absolutely delicious. I'm obsessed with the Spinach u0026 Cheese Ravoili and my husband loves their gnocchi in vodka sauce. We always get dessert too. Definitely recommend!

Terrible customer service!!! I requested a refund for a take out order within 5 minutes of placing it and the manager said they do not honor refunds. Because they had already prepped the veggies for my order, which I only ordered 2 dishes at $43(insane), I would have to call my bank to dispute the charge. This is a scam so they can keep my money and their brick and mortar business open! From other reviews, their food is basic, if not poor in taste and it is safe to say overpriced!

The American version uses tomato sauce that has been slow-cooked, while Italian pizzas use pureed fresh tomatoes. Moreover, the sauce is thicker and contains more flavor than the American version, and eating it is an experience one never forgets. Unfortunately finding it requires a lot of chewing through many mediocre pizzas. Sopranos pizza combines their robust homeade sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese and crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside crust to create a damn good pizza2, one that is hard to find. Even better, it tastes just as good the day after with no bubble gum crust to deal with. Cheers!

The staff / family / owners are some of the nicest people I've ever had the honor to meet. If you are up for a laugh, good people and good times it's the place for you. Food is traditionally made, fresh with food presentation. Not too mention really nice portions. Give them a try if you haven't before. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

We were there for a late lunch so there were no other customers and only one server/bartender who was somewhat aloof but efficient. Hard to describe the place, cross between a bar, fast food joint, and restaurant. That said, chicken Parm was moist, tasty and enough for leftovers. I had an alfredo pasta dish with chicken, scallops, shrimp, and clams. Tasty and plentiful. I wouldn't take someone there on a first or romantic date, but otherwise, without hesitation.
