La Grotta On Main

My husband and I decided to come here with my mother in-law for Mother’s Day and was the best decision! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We asked if they had the menu in Spanish and the owner showed up and spoke to us in Spanish. He certainly made sure that my in-law was well taken care for the whole time and we really appreciated it. We tried the limone veil, the lasagna, the risotto di mare, and the pasta and all the food was delicious! We sit at a shaded spot at the patio and loved it. The beautiful trees and the birds chirping were a plus! My family and I are definitely coming back here again! Thank you!

I would not recommend La Grotta on Main at all. The inside of the restaurant was super filthy - flies and bugs everywhere. We were seeing at least 50 flies when we last visited. La Grotta's food was easily one of the worst Italian food I had tasted in a few years. We ordered a pizza and a risotto, both came to us cold.

Amazing pizza! Me and my family decided to try this place and we were not disappointed at all! The atmosphere is amazing and the patio is nice and cool even on a hot summer day. The pizza was so good and filling. And the staff is so friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place! Definitely coming back! Thank you Sebastian for your amazing service and friendliness!

Stepping into this restaurant made me feel like I’m in Italy. I decided to come here with my family on Mother’s Day and it was honestly amazing!! The food, service and ambience was just incredible! It was really affordable and a great place if you want a bunch of dishes as shareable among 5 people. The calamari was just delicious and I’ve never tasted salmon so well cooked just to hit my high expectations. We also tried the steak, lamb chops and pasta, I wouldn’t give anything less than a 10/10. My family and I are definitely coming back here again! One thing I would do for next time is to make reservations before coming as, it’s one of the most visited restaurants on Main Street. The parking is accessible and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating to your needs.

Tried this place for the first time today. The place has an awesome backside patio, which resembles the ambiance you would get in Italy. The owner and the staff are super nice. The food is amazing as well. They even hooked us up with a Tiramisu for desert. This place is definitely a vibe, and I would definitely go back again.

I have been to La Grotta a few times and it never disappoints! I try different dishes and they all become my new favorite. The atmosphere is really nice, relaxing and cozy. Just had a birthday celebration there and the owner made sure we all had a great time at his restaurant. The servers are very professional and polite. This is the best hidden gem in Unionville.

I went to La Grotta with my family. The service was impeccable, and the food was also amazing. We were first served bread with chili oil u0026 balsamic. It was incredible! I had to take some chili oil home because it was that good. We started with a caprese salad which was very fresh u0026 our mains were also amazing. I definitely recommend the mushroom and pesto pasta! It was all of our favourites, so tasty and filling. It was my grandfathers birthday and even though we did not order dessert, our server brought out a little piece of tiramisu with a candle which was very thoughtful. Amazing location u0026 atmosphere. 10/10 recommend! Will be coming back soon!!
