Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Mesa, AZ

Location was good. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was Pleasant. The hotel is old and dated. Our room was dirty with previous guests clothing and used linens left behind. The restroom was gross and neither the shower nor sink drain properly. The walls have stuff splattered on them. The whole place smells terrible. Do not recommend at all. Find somewhere else to stay.

They have a great breakfast with real pork sausage, orange slices and real metal silverware. The pool area is really nicely landscaped and inviting. The rooms have good space but are showing some wear and tear. The bathrooms are a bit small but clean.

Great location. Close to lots of shopping, tons of options for dining and not far from Mesa-Gateway Airport. You could also get to Sky Harbor in a reasonable amount of time. Service here was great for me. Check-In was easy. I requested a close room on the 1st floor because of my handicap. She was more than happy to help me and even upgraded my room. Room was very clean. Coffee maker and cups located in the middle of the room. The suite has a living room and separate bedroom with two TVs. Very quiet. Overall I was pleased with this location.

Location is right off the freeway, which is both good and bad. Great because it's very easy to get to, bad because the rooms facing the freeway are VERY noisy. Even with the a/c on, could not drown out the outside traffic sounds throughout the night. Got a one room king suite, and it was nice enough. The bed was comfy and clean. The bathroom was very small and dated (tub shower), and hot water took an extremely long time. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

This was the most unprofessional experience I have had! We were flying into Mesa with our 1 year old, so I called before and after I booked to make sure us coming in around 1am would not be a problem. When I showed up the lady at the desk said they cancelled my reservation due to maintenance issues and asked if I got an email. I double checked right then and told her I only had an email that asked how my check in went. After a 4 hour plane ride at 1am my husband, me, and my 1 year old had no room to stay in with no heads up or notice before arriving. No effort was put in to helping us find somewhere else to stay or concern what so ever. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

I hate to bash this hotel chain because I've had a great experience in other Country Inn u0026 Suites but I will never stay at this location again. I have friends that live nearby and have let them know to never let anyone else to stay here either. My wife and I checked into our hotel room and did not have an issue with the room, however we noticed that the toilet did not flush. I brought this up to Lisa at the front desk and she tried to give me a plunger that was in the cleaning closet that was in a bag full of toilet water. I asked if they could give us a partial refund on the room and she laughed and said good luck, management is a joke. Not really the response I was looking for. I asked to speak with someone in management and she said she can't do anything because she would get in trouble. When I asked for a receipt for the room they gave me someone else's receipt. When I went back to the desk to get the correct receipt, Lisa had left for the day. I asked Storm if she could give me receipt and she told me she could not. I could go on for a while about how terrible the customer service is in this place but I'll spare you the time, just be cautious with this specific hotel! I will never be staying here again.
