I have changed my tires here for years with the previous operators and had reliably great service, including honestly recommending additional necessary repairs. Today was a different story. We scheduled our vehicle in for an off-rim winter tire change, but when I brought it the manager said that because the wheels were 5 years old, they needed to sell me a whole new set of tires for $1600. I said the tires are fine and to proceed with the change, but he refused and I left. I visited my local garage and he replaced them in an hour for $150. He confirmed the tires are in great condition and that typically its a 10 year lifespan. I do not recommend this location.

RJ is simply the best awesome to connect with for any tire service, as he not only fixes the tires but also does alignment and test drives to ensure everything is perfect, all at a very reasonable price without sacrificing quality, and his customer friendliness and support are the most important to admire. Rude people, especially that guy arbaz and rj. Full of ego, and scammers, they lie about your car being broken just to make some extra buck. Do not recommend.

Hi, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the poor customer service and misleading business practices I recently experienced at Active Green + Ross located at 73 Bridgeland Ave, North York, ON M6A 1Y7. I have been a loyal customer since 2022, getting my seasonal tire changes done at this shop. This year when I came in for my usual tire swap from all seasons to winters, I was told by Rahul Jain, the Service Manager, that my winter tires were inadequate and I would need to purchase four new tires. When I inquired about the reasoning behind this, Mr. Jain first stated it was due to insufficient tread depth. However, when I asked for the specific measurement, he changed his stance, claiming it was because the tires were 5 years old and per regulations could not be installed on my 2013 Range Rover Sport. I asked Mr. Jain to provide me with the specific regulation that prohibits the use of 5-year-old tires, as I could not find any such information on the Ontario Ministry of Transport's website. At this point, Mr. Jain refused to install my existing winter tires that have plenty of tread left, essentially forcing me to buy new tires from their shop. I have stored my winter tires at their shop the past two seasons and question why I was not informed of any issues when they were removed last spring. Mr. Jain claimed they forgot to tell me because it was a busy season. When I pointed out the illogical and misleading nature of their claims, Mr. Jain was dismissive, stating Do what you have to, it doesn't matter, many people complain. I found his attitude and the company's apparent scam to sell unnecessary tires completely unacceptable. This situation caused me unnecessary stress and pain, as I had to struggle to fit all four oversized tires into my truck without assistance after being refused service. I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment I received and believe the company employs dishonest practices. I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Ministry of Consumer Services, and other consumer protection groups regarding this experience unless this matter is remedied immediately. Stay away from this Active Green+Ross at all costs to save some money and get your tires changed by true professionals. Sincerely, Update: Within 24 hours from when I posted my review, I received a call from Active Green + Ross. Mr. Jain apologized and offered to refund the cost of storing my unusable winter tires that they had charged me for last season. They requested that I remove the negative review in exchange for this remedy. I explained that I would update the review to reflect this new information. They also offered to now install the same winter tires on my truck that they had previously rejected as inadequate. However, since I had already used a more reliable service to have the tires installed after being refused service at their shop, I no longer required Active Green + Ross to install them. As an additional remedy, they offered me a free tire change for next season. I appreciate their effort to de-escalate the situation and make amends for their poor service. I received the refund for the storage fees via an Interac e-transfer from Mr. Jain's personal account. While this does not fully make up for the terrible experience I had at their shop, I recognise they are taking steps to rectify the situation.

I took my car here to get my tires changed for the winter season, they were able to change them however could not figure out why my car was shaking.. I wasted an entire day sitting in their waiting room, leaving coming back. I eventually get tired of waiting with no answer and had to take it to another mechanic just to have the problem fixed. I would suggest going elsewhere if you are looking for tires or tire service.

This Green u0026 Ross on Bridgeland Ave have always given me excellent service in the past and continue to do so. I have had several recent urgent repairs on both my vehicles and they always look after me as and when needed. I am very satisfied with their service and completely confident in recommending them to others which I do. They really value their customers.

We had an emergency on Christmas Eve at 12 noon. A tire was losing air pressure so we needed to get it fixed. We don't live in Toronto so we didn't know where to go. I called at least six different places and they were either closing for the holiday or booked up. When I called here, the owner said they were closing up but that they would wait for us! We were in shock that they would actually go out of their way like that. We got there in about 20 minutes..they were knowledgeable, friendly and fixed everything in no time. Thank you so much for your kindness when we needed help!! The new winter tires are great!
