Be prepared for a long wait at the checkout. A snake line of customers over 50 and only 4 cashiers. Management and District managers need to figure out a better game plan. Customers do not want to spend their summer vacation waiting on long lines.

I placed an online order. I walked into the store at 9 am this morning. I was told where pu was and I waited for 10 minutes for someone to come out. Then, they didn't have their scan gun so they walked off. Another 5 minutes goes by and someone else (who was rude as hell) came up and I was finally out of there 20 minutes later. Where is the old fashioned customer service? Why do employees treat their customers so rudely? Why do the stores even allow this?

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional customer service from Janie. Their commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with the level of care and attention I received. I was looking for a specific colored Yeti product, and Janie made it happen. What truly sets Janie apart is their attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile. Janie at first thought the product I needed was out of stock. It was my surprise when she met me at the register counter with the exact product I was searching for. It truly made my day. Thank you, Janie, for providing such an exceptional customer service experience. You have undoubtedly set the standard for what customer service should be, and I am grateful for the outstanding care I received.

Terrible. Inadequate parking, ridiculously delayed orders, and easily the worst pickup area I've ever seen. But the worst thing has got to be their return policy: i ordered a red shirt and a blue shirt in an XL but when they eventually arrived (2 days later even though they were in shock and curbside) they were a little big. They don't appear to have extended holiday hours so i had to go back twice for a straight exchange, only i couldn't have a straight exchange because they refused to exchange the blue shirt for a gray one of the exact same kind. Why? Because the one i bought originally was blue and although the color was not available in the right size, I COULD NOT EXCHANGE FOR THE SAME SHIRT IN A DIFFERENT COLOR. I was floored but then spent the next several minutes trying to at least get a refund. Don't even try to return something without the receipt, regardless of your possession of the pick up slips and other various bar codes, and don't expect the staff to know how to find a receipt in their system either. I never shop there and now i remember why.

Being that there’s only one Academy in Corpus Christi, your better off going somewhere else. Visit Portland Academy location because your gonna wait and wait here. Customers subjected to long waits for open registers, and most times items/sizes are out of stock here has been my experiences.

Customer service at the corpus christi location was a complete joke. I waited over 20 minutes and no one would help with return. They asked for manager to help but she decided to laugh and joke with other employees instead of helping the line that continued to grow. Needless to say return was not made and still having trouble trying to submit a return online. Be careful what you buy from this store you might just be stuck with it. Will never visit this store every again!! And if I had that managers name I would have posted it
