They did a great job replacing the catalytic converters but there was some miscommunication. They said they would notify me by end of the day on the estimate and never heard back so be sure to followup if you don't hear back within the time frame they gave.

I had them do exhaust on my first car 10 years ago and they did a great job for a fair price. This time, I was having them do a simpler exhaust system. I was charged more than 500$ for them to unbolt my muffler and weld on a 200$ Muffler. If I loved the sound then it would be ok but it sounds really bad. I did some research and it says online that a chambered muffler shouldn’t be used with a turbo so now I feel like I need to replace the muffler again to protect my engine and have the vehicle sound decent.

Want to add a final respect to one of American Automotives long time mechanics. Will worked here for Allen many, many years. Will passed away some months ago. American Automotive will deeply miss Wills expertise and character. However the shop will continue to grow and thrive with some young bucks taking the helm. REST IN PEACE WILL.

Had a them do muffler jobs for me. One for a 2015 Mustang and the other for a 2007 Corvette. Both jobs were extremely professional. I am really happy with the service and openness of their work.

Great fast service. My car was down for 4+ months because of stolen catalytic converter. Alan and Denise got the part and fixed the car in 2 weeks.
