Cafe One Eight

I had such a good experience here! I got a charcuterie board that was legit the best board I have ever had and it was extremely reasonably priced. I also got the roast beef sandwich and it was heaven in my mouth! I am coming back here an bringing friends with - this cafe is a gem!

Love the cute and clean environment here. Food and coffee were delicious! Baked goods are really great as well (I ordered the cherry danish). The cashier was making the drinks and taking orders at the same time so she seemed a bit overwhelmed. They also charge you an additional $0.80 to add sauce to your breakfast sandwich, which seemed odd for a sandwich that already costs $10-15. Other than that, overall a great experience!

Am I missing something here? One of the most disappointing coffees I’ve ever had. Saw good reviews and wanted to try an iced coffee. I got an “iced latte”. Asked for a large, which is apparently only a medium at best. Barely any flavor and the drink was still hot, hardly any ice to the drink. With an iced drink I would expect it cold at least. Service was unfriendly and disinterested. I can’t believe the price for the coffee, it was over 6 dollars for one of the most mediocre coffees I’ve ever had, which is just unbelievable. I have had better from a gas station. The place is very small with hardly any seating and when you walk in there is hardly any room to even get in the door to order. Maybe the food is better. However nothing to write home about. I don’t see myself coming back here.

Food here is a bit pricy but quality and service is wonderful! I ordered the Market Fresh Sandwich with a few substitutions and the sandwich came out super scrumptious. Still dreaming about those pesto and avocado combo!
