377th Medical Group - Kirtland Air Force Base

I was born on Sandia/Kirkland AFB IN 1958. My father was a M.D., Captain in the Reg. Army. He always said he was an Army doctor at a Navy hospital on an Air Force base. I don't believe this is the same clinic/hospital, it probably no longer exists. Anyone have similar experience?

Medical Technician Messina, A .B. was a great representation for the 377th. The process from the check-in to the immunizations area was seemless! He was very efficient and  was able to get me taken care of with my immunizations! 5 Star!!

Lack of communication is a HUGE issue, poorly managed, some staff is very friendly, others are extremely rude. Going to the Dr has never been more frustrating!! One more thing - they lost my medical documentation more than once! Isn't that a HIPPA violation? So unorganized, what is actually going on here?

Communication? Knowing processes and procedures? NOT HERE. I've spoken to approximately 8 different people from appointment lines, to nurses to doctor and no one knows what the hell is going on. I've been misscheduled which can be crucial. I have tried to talk about symptoms and basically told it was all in my head. Pretty much anytime I opened my mouth the first 2 years I was immediately shut down. So I just stopped coming here. I've recently had to return for pcs reasons and it's been such a nightmare. Don't go here unless all other options are used and it's a last resort. Everything you say and do will be used against you and doctors will pressure you.

Even if you have an appointment that I personally set up on the counter, they can screw it up. They said they confirmed another date but as with no email or phone number. But they're happy to reschedule you, which of course just takes your time, or they'll send ER for a normal check-up. I'm sure the ER will be impressed when you come in for an check up.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is mainly for one single person that makes every time I call feel like a nightmare. Its apparent that even after a year everyone is still having issues with the same person, Nurse Camille. As a prior nurse I don't need to be treated like I'm dillusional. I have an obvious issue with an injury and she acts like it's fake and uses a sarcastic tone every time. I just tested positive for Covid and she acts like it's impossible I see she treats everyone like this, which isn't good. Officers, enlisted, civilian, veterans, and spouses should not be treated like this. If you don't care about people, don't make it your career to care about people. I've been dealing with her for years now and my patience us gone, whenever she calls back, ill just request someone else to call every time. I'll wait for someone who'll listen and be respectful. Sorry for the bad review, everyone else I deal with is great, but I have to contact this nurse way too much.

The automated refill system said i could pick up my meds on the 13th. When i arrived the pharmacy was closed. Now no meds and I'll be out of state for a month. There's NO excuse for this. You can do better.

I’ve had enough poor experiences here to warrant a low review. I have been forgotten about in the flight medical section while being seen, prompting me to walk around the back to find the doctor who thought I had left. Also, if you call and leave a message for any of the shops, good luck getting a call back. I’m currently on a 3 voicemail streak with optometry to ask them a simple question.
