Nikki's French Quarter Halloween Store

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!!! I was stressed, looking for a last minute wig because mine didn’t come in on time for Halloween. Found this store, it had a huge selection, better prices than Amazon. I had fallen and scraped my knee on the street, right before walking in. I didn’t say anything and an angel woman noticed and ran to get supplies to bandage my knee and clean me up???? Amazing. I asked her name right as I was leaving… NIKKI!!!!!!! The owner of the damn store. Beautiful, humble, warm person. I highly recommend her store. Great people with great product. I will absolutely be coming back!

I gave 3 stars because from the 2 mins I got to look around they definitely had lots of stuff. However…. You have to be 18 to shop here. That would’ve been nice to know before walking half a mile to the store and told my 13 year old daughter couldn’t be in there. I would’ve left her at the hotel had I know before hand. Please advertise better 18+

The front desk chick was super rude, said “this bitch” to her coworker while staring at me, complained the whole time about having to be at work, and then blamed me for the rip in the costume I tried on - which her coworker said it had been ripped since Halloween. I left without buying anything because screw that. I appreciate it though because then I found No Rules Fashion down the street which is amaaaaazing.

Woody and Jai were absolutely amazing. We were on vacation, and swung in a couple of times to explore Halloween 2023 ideas. They absolutely helped us figure out what would/wouldn't work, and now I have tonnes of stuff prepared for months in advance!!! An amazing store with amazing service!!

went here about a week ago for the very last time. i’ve been thinking about the interaction a lot because it really rubbed me the wrong way. i’m local and started shopping here because they had a great selection of tights compared to a few other shops in the quarter, and when i would go in there was a person in a black hood with a face tattoo that would always help me. before my last visit, they were so incredibly kind and helpful and just about talked my ear off so long i was late getting back to work. the last time i went in they immediately turned their back on me as soon as i walked in the store and waved. i thought it was odd but figured maybe they were busy and just didn’t notice so i brushed it off. we get around to the counter space and they acknowledge us with a greeting and i say “hello how are you today?” i am then ranted at for a solid 2 minutes about how it’s actually very rude to ask how someone’s day is and i’m not entitled to that information and it’s a very strange thing to ask of a stranger. i was simply trying to be polite. they then went on to say “you don’t look like a karen so i figured you could take some truth. but what do i know? karen’s hide in alt communities now, maybe you are a karen.” i’m autistic. approaching people i don’t know, service industry or not is already very hard for me. i wanted to cry the entire time this person that had previously been so kind to me berated me for what seemed like forever. as long as this is the energy this store keeps, i’ll be spending my money elsewhere. wildflower boutique (or really any other toy shop that’s not hustler) will definitely be getting any business that i previously gave to nikki’s/mr binky’s, and i urge everyone else looking at this page to do the same.
