Escape nails spa

If you're reading reviews such as myself looking for a nail shop, I suggest trying Escape nail spa. Helen was my tech, and she did great on my acrylic fill, cut down, and re shape. She said I made her nervous, I was nervous, but my nails turned out really nice. I admit, I'm a little hard to please perfectionist, but I actually love them. Something about coffin shape on my nails. Looks so good. I showed her a picture of the ombre and glitter. It came out just like I wanted. She's very experienced, soft-spoken, gentle, and professional. She continuously asked if everything was okay the whole time. Helen services include acrylic, gel, and SNS dip. It's a full service spa, offers pedicures and wax. Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Appointments are definitely recommended.

Horrible experience three times in a row. I tried because I used to love this place. Now it’s very sad, worn down and no care whatsoever from employees. Way too over priced. Nail tech just left in the middle of my pedicure, right out the front door. Also, third time they cut me in some way. Sorry, Escape.

I went to this salon 3 days ago and have been contemplating whether or not to post a review. if you look at my nails, you’ll see they are all different lengths… and this set was 90$ without a tip! of course i tipped 20% but 90$ for a pair of nails that aren’t done well? next time, i’ll pass.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but the overall look of the place is going down hill. It is dirty, dusty, chairs are worn out, nail polish on sneeze guards. It is a shame, it just seems by the look of the location they don’t care as much as when they started out. With as much competition as there is in the neighborhood I hope they step it up a notch again I would be sorry to see them close.

I came in with gel x on my nails. They didn’t tell me until I went to pay that removal for gel x is an addition cost on top of their removal charge. Within four days I had two chips. For one of the chips they filed my nail down instead of repairing it, making my nail shorter than the rest and having an oval shape compared to the rest of my square nails. The other nail they buffed off a few layers and reapplied the top layers, just for it to break in the same exact spot less than twelve hours later and for a whole different nail to chip the next day and another nail to start peeling all within a week of spending almost $80 on my nails. Even if I did trust them to fix these repairs I am out of town so will have to pay a different salon to fix their issue.

This is a really good nails place. I go here and get my Nails with Maria. She is excellent at her job and very friendly to talk to. She is also super talented! Price is reasonable. I would definitely get appointments because the waiting time for walk ins could be lengthy.

I've really tried with this place. It was my sixth visit and last try. The techs are very sweet but that's not enough. I'm always left with every nail a different length, and today left with some kind of hard, shell like substance all over my fingers, hands, and on my knuckles. The prices are different every time I go in, even for the same service. I paid $70 before tip today, for a mess (dip powder). I sat for 2 hours for something that has only taken maybe 45- an hour every place I've ever been. Sorry guys, last visit.

I've visited Escape twice now as a walk-in for just gel polish changes and have recieved exceptional service each time! They really take the time to do things right here. My natural nails were prepped correctly without making my nail too thin and each coat of gel was applied thinly and each layer cured, which helps prevent lifting. The results were beautiful and long-lasting.
