10-21-2023 11:25I bought and paid for a new Nextbase 522GW Dashcam for a wee bit of driving insurance, as you just never know. Paying for fitting seemed a small price to pay for the expertise of Paul C, the Halfords fitter. I arrived a little before the allotted time, handed over my keys and went for a wander. Paul C called me after about 50 minutes to say he was all done. Back at the car, Paul took me through some of the features of the camera and offered some advice on operation before allowing me to drive off. The fitting was immaculate. I was a little nervous as its a new vehicle, but apart from the cable end appearing from under the roof lining, there was no evidence of any trim being removed. Brilliant job. As a victim of their own success, the only downside was needing to wait 6 weeks from order to fitting, but other than that., Perfect. Well Done Paul C!

10-02-2023 18:05Paul M Matthew at Brislington Trading Estate, replaced windscreen wiper blade, and tightened a loose bulb on my car. He was so efficient and so helpful. The other staff in the store were all so helpful as well. An outstanding customer service team. Can't praise then enough. Best experience in a store I've had since the last time I was in there! Thank you guys.

08-08-2023 12:14PLEASE READ TO THE END. ANY POSITIVE COMMENTS FROM MY INITIAL REVIEW CAN BE FULLY DISREGARDED. Paul C did a brilliant job installing my screen. He was incredibly professional, completed the work to a very high standard and explained everything after he’d finished. A far easier process than I was expecting. Awesome! EDIT 1 This was originally a five star review, but I have unfortunately had to change this. After the stereo was fitted, a button above it, which is only accessible by removing the stereo, came loose and, eventually, fell into the dash. I called to have this fixed and they booked me in. When I arrived, Paul C, who had originally fitted the stereo, was incredibly abrupt and unhelpful; almost defensive. He showed me pictures of it at the end of the job (I never said it was broken when I left) and a printout saying that I should be informed that they wouldn’t help. When this was interrogated, it turned out that they had actually booked my appointment after this message had been uploaded on their system. In reality, I don’t actually care whether this issue was caused during the installation of the stereo. I care about Paul’s poor, dismissive attitude, which has changed my view of the experience, and the amount of my time that has been wasted unnecessarily. EDIT 2 Halfords acknowledged that the damage was caused by them and paid for an independent garage to fix this. When they took the stereo out, they found that Paul C had broken the clips for the button during installation; to get this back to its original standard, part of the dash would need replacing. What I found apalling was that Paul C hadn't installed the correct housing behind the stereo, meaning that there was lots of wiggle room. It felt like Halfords took pride in their week, but it is only skin deep. If you interrogate their work, it is very very poor indeed. AVOID.

08-01-2023 13:06Paul C downstairs and Alex upstairs were so helpful and didn't make me feel rushed and gave me all the discounts and were very informative about the products which helped me to make the buying decision. Alex also helped with the info I wanted for booking my cycle for it's service. I've always had great service in Bristol Brislington long may it continue and I will definitely come back again, fab job.

05-31-2023 00:52Absolutely atrocious service, I'll do my best to avoid Halfords in the future. I received an email that my number plate was ready for collection having ordered it online the day before. I turned up to collect it only to be told that I needed proof of ownership before the plate could be made. And that would be at least 24hours. I asked why I received the email I did to be told that it was a symptom of ordering it online and the staff at the store also find it irritating. Unbelievable incompetence!
