10-19-2023 22:53This company is an absolute scam. They came out to service my boiler and told me my entire system needed replacing when it did not and they sent me a quote for over £3,000 to flush out my radiators. They charged £126 for coming out and doing nothing other than giving wrong advice and sitting in the van for an hour, and took the money out of my bank without my approval and despite the fact that I refused to sign for the work (as there had been none). Then they threatened to take me to the courts to recover the money after my bank refunded it as it was taken without my consent. They responded to none of my complaints until the bank refunded me the money. The are absolute COWBOYS!

10-15-2023 12:06One star is too good for this company. An engineer turned up to find an underground leak and after 4 hours gave me a bill for £3800, apparently the gas detection cylinder used is very expensive!!! Please note that this cost is for the initial work and not for completion of works. When I asked for the paperwork I was told it was not available because the job had not been completed, which I'm guessing would be an extra cost of another £3800. Absolutely terrible experience. There are much better companies out there...

10-11-2023 01:29AVOID THE SCAMMERS. The most unprofessional and manipulative company/repairmen. They tried to invoice 5 times the regular price to repair a blocked sink and took 5 hours plus there were 2 men while one played on their phone and made conversation with us the entire time. Additionally one of them hit on my flatmate and tried to coerce her to come outside at 3am to meet him in his car after she refused multiple times as she had a partner. So wrong and unprofessional and disgusting from all areas. The landlord started an investigation and this money will definitely not be paid. The invoice has all sorts of fictional details in it which never happened and they wanted to charge £1,300 from the total only for a ‘leak survey’ when there was one pipe which we showed them which was no even leaking anymore and they didn’t fix. The amount of lies and delusions is hard to explain.

07-10-2023 17:17I don't like leaving bad reviews and rarely do (if ever) as being a business owner myself I know how damaging it can be and how hard it is out there. This company however has got it all wrong and are not at all interested in trying to resolve the complaint. I wish I had read their reviews before I called them. They sent an incompetent engineer who didn't finish the job. I told them at the time of booking that I needed a new gas hose and was told the engineer should have one in the van....he didn't. He then left midway through the job to go and get a hose (charging me for the time taken to bring the part I told them I needed when i first booked the job, 1.5hrs charged even though there is a screwfix 10mins up the road). They also had the cheek to charge me multiples of the cost of the hose and refused to provide proof of purchase when requested. Lastly, the engineer didn't even complete the job and left my appliance disconnected. I was charged for 3hrs labour and triple market rate for a gas hose with an incomplete job. When I queried this with their office I was bounced between teams with no one actually able to assist or resolve anything. The only thing they seem to have set up with efficiency is chasing up payments and escalating/threatening debt recovery u0026 legal action. I ended up paying simply because I don't need the stress and have a business to focus on running. Used once, expensive lesson...will never use again! Better to instruct a local engineer directly.

05-20-2023 08:12DO NOT USE: UNRELIABLE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCED. Booked job 5 days in advance with 7am -12pm time slot. By 12pm, no contractor has arrived. I call, promised a call back. No call back comes. I call back at 12:30pm, placed on hold for 18mins and told a contractor would arrive at 4pm - 5pm BUT I would be charged at HIGHER night rate for work after 5pm, despite the fact that they had failed to arrive, failed to call me and were only offering to come at such a late hour. Told no managers available to speak. Cancelled the job due to the failure to arrive on time, poor customer service and number of other 1 star reviews here.

03-28-2023 15:19Engineer (who was actually nice) spent 5 min on the job, to look at the cistern and say he could not access it without breaking my wall. He left with an assurance that I should not get charged the full amount. However, within one hour, I got charged the full amount. They take the pre authorisation on the credit card, which I am generally not comfortable with. But considering the emergency, I went ahead anyway. However, lesson learnt as the Aspect Support stopped entertaining any further requests and arguments from me. My first and likely last experience with Aspect. Thanks for nothing.
