09-03-2023 11:09AVOID ARGOS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT QUALITY OR PRODUCT ISSUES WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD!!! Ridiculous. If you want to buy anything of good quality then Argos is not the right place for that. Especially if that said Item has a fault caused not by yourself and you bought extra 2 year product replacement insurance only for them to say Sorry, you cannot return it without the original packaging. This is ridiculous! Nowhere does it say in the replacement insurance policy leaflet, which has the Tu0026Cs, that you need the original packaging or any thing else apart from the faulty (Item) And the F##%in reciept for the insurance policy and product. Both of which I had. I threw away the box since it takes up space, Im not a hoarder and I never thought I'd ever bloody need it for a return.

08-14-2023 00:23Horrible staff. Told them that I would like to return a product but they made up their own policy stating that the catalog sticker was required and refused to return it. I was told to try to find the sticker and come back the next day to see if they could do anything else but was met with “the manager made her decision yesterday that it couldn’t be returned”. They made me go out of my way to come back knowing that it wouldn’t be possible to return the item. Spoke to customer services on the phone and they suggested to return it to a different store. Went to the Argos store in Sainsbury’s on melton road where they assisted and helped me with my return. I asked about the requirement of the catalog sticker and the worker told me that the store can put a sticker on themselves which she did. If you need to go to an Argos store I would recommended the Melton road one. Very friendly staff and I was out of the store in 5 minutes.

07-07-2023 05:56They can’t wait to take our money but when returning the EXPENSIVE product when it has issues is another story!!!! RICHARD The manager was an absolute a.hole. Wouldn’t take the item back even though it was well inside it’s extended Christmas guarantee. Saying I need to go to APPLE and sort it!! Excuse me but I bought it from Argos not Apple!!! Why should I go to the middleman?!! Anyway I drove to another Argos where they took it back without any problems!!!! Richard, sort your customer service skills out or leave the front and go and work behind the scenes where we do not have to encounter your rudeness and that’s putting it politely!!!

03-07-2023 23:58People working behind till busy chit-chatting while I was waiting listening to them. Upon engagement they still talking to each other while processing my order. Worst customer service seen so far. Could have given zero stars if possible for customer service. Worst customer service award goes to them.
