Travellers Inn

This review is of the restaurant, not the stay over facilities of the inn. Went here at lunchtime for a meal with friends - not busy when we arrived, but got busier while we were there - but this did not cause any issues. Good choice on the menu with discounted offers - two courses for £9.95. Food was very nice though the chips looked overcooked. Good choice of desserts and generous sized portions. Well worth a visit.

Great garden set up for outdoor entertainment or relaxing drink in the sun

Excellent food and beer at reasonable prices. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Nice friendly atmosphere in a lovely old fashioned pub.

Pub closed early just as we got there at 7.30 they said they closed as no one there. After I rang at 7pm asking are you open the reply was yes we drove from Rotherham and we were turned away. NOT GOOD BUSINESS DONT THINK. ?????

A very warm welcome a beautiful traditional pub. Very friendly staff. The waitress a breath of fresh air. And the food was traditional good cooked and presented lovely a set menu is available at a very good price. We had soup pates fish, and my husband hasn't stopped talking about his pie, and braising steak and home made desserts apple crumble and steamed puddings, absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended. Can't wait to return. Thank you

Nice friendly pub, with some good beer !

Arranged to meet in travellers for a big family get-together as my brother had just come over from South Africa. Loved the pub especially the beer garden and the girl who served us was a breath of fresh air so friendly and chatty. Will definitely be going back again and would recommend to friends and family.
