Travelodge Derby Chaddesden

This hotel is in need of repair and modernisation! The carpets need replacing throughout. Skirtingboards are thick with dust. Shower curtains was torn. Bathroom has shower only. Situated next to a Toby carvery Large free car park.

Attended a WAKO competition at Harvey Hadden Sports Village, so I had about a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Hotel clean and tidy, no unexpected smells, toilet rolls were a bit sparse tho, plenty of places to eat within the vicinity. Parking ok too.

The Mattress and duet were very dirty. The room was dusty. The carpet was filled with rubbish under the bed.

Very impressed with value for money. Friendly receptionist, a clean, good sized room with ensuite and decent shower. Kettle and tea/coffee sachets provided with milk, sugar etc. Can request more if needed. Set back from an A road, lots of parking space, and right next door to a Toby Carvery - big bonus for breakfast if you like to have one. Supermarket next door too and easy access to all main routes. One point worth noting . . .entrance not that obvious - looks more like a side door!!

i stayed for 1 night the bed was very comfortable, clean, very simple check in and the shower had good water pressure too :)

Lots of options for food in the area, 4 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Rooms were clean, and cosy. Staff were friendly polite and very helpful. Large amount of parking spaces.

Really friendly staff! So helpful and accommodating. Joe on the front desk was wonderful and made our stay all the better!

A bit jaded with a need for new carpets and smelt musty. HOWEVER- Bed comfortable and clean. Ideal for families with a local park at the rear. Very quiet in park facing rooms. Lots of shops including Aldi Iceland etc and a safe area to walkabout. We would definitely stop again.
