12-05-2023 12:53I don’t recommend this hotel. It’s very expensive and does not look like the pictures. It’s much smaller and older than they show, super noisy when people are in the corridor and going down or up stairs… the only good thing I can say was that it is conveniently located, in a nice neighbourhood.

11-08-2023 12:23Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Firstly, nothing in the booking i originally made indicated that it was a sister hotel to a different one that was 5 minutes away, which is where you would check in and collect the room key from. The hotel room was pretty nice but a standard hotel room. Nice TV but our remote did not work, didn’t even have a back on the batteries, just some tape. We left for dinner that evening and when we came back, the door to our room would not open, no matter how much we pressed the key card to it. I rang the reception and she made us a new one, therefore we had to walk to the other hotel to collect it. We went back to our room and still, the keycard would not open the door. I rang again and the lady came round to our room, and came to the conclusion that the issue was the door itself and she’ll send someone the next morning to fix it. Me and my partner were pretty annoyed as we now couldn’t go back out that evening and were stuck in the room. We were not offered a change of rooms or anything like that. The next day someone finally comes in the afternoon to ‘fix the door’, but instead she came in and fixed the safe? I’m glad we were still in the room to see this, otherwise we would have returned late at night from ‘the weeknd’ concert and the door would not have opened again. I once again rang reception and told them what happened, they said they’ll send her around again. At this point it was about 1:30pm and no sign of anyone. We ended up leaving as we did not want to waste anymore of our day. I rang reception later in the afternoon where they then confirmed the door had been fixed. When we checked out the following day i told the 2 men at reception that i wasn’t happy or impressed with this, and neither had much to say, just ‘sorry’. For the price of almost £350 that we paid, i feel we were totally ripped off, and not offered any compensation at all. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

09-21-2023 23:32Absolutely avoid at all costs. I wish I had read other reviews. Service was atrocious . Firstly I didn’t get the room I booked. Check in time was meant to be 3 and I didn’t get a room until 6.45pm. I was told to wait in a cafe and get a coffee. The aircon was down and I was just told ‘you have a fan and keep the window open. It was 30 degrees outside and I didn’t get any sleep for 2 nights. The internet didn’t work. All of this with no apologies or options for anything else. Finally when I checked out the concierge told me I would get a refund. Well, upper management through subsequent emails refused to honour this and after 15 emails just offered a 50% discount on a future stay. Needless to say I’l never stay there again. No doubt there will be a response to this saying I got offered another room for the second night but this is just false. DO NOT BOOK HERE

09-04-2023 11:50Poor room standard, old water damage to the bathroom door which made it unable to close at all, tiny rooms with nowhere to unpack, and extremely inefficient room planning. Would not recommend to anyone. Even the hairdryer died after about 10 seconds of use. Was told the maintenance would fix the door, but no one came. Very noisy, and way too crammed. Would only recommend if you needed to live near Victoria for cheap alone for maximum of one night by yourself. Never share a room with anyone here. Would give the staff half an extra star for allowing us an hour late check out. But that’s about it.

07-08-2023 20:04Room was clean as was bedding. Bathroom was clean bright and modern. Desk was more a shelf and very small, and as wanted to do some work was of no use. Have to check in at another location 5mins away, as was dry and sunny it was not a problem, but in winter would have been upset. Also was only notified after booking, had this been made clear before booking I may not have booked.

05-26-2023 09:49To pick up your keys, you need to go to another location than the stipulated one. However, you only get this info via a little sign posted outside the entrance of the townhouse. Additionally, the addres given on the little sign does not match with the output in Google Maps, landing you in a heavy construction zone. Upon finally being able to enter the room, the carpeted floor was wet, squishy wet, in places. The bathroom had rust spots. Smelly, loud, since the 204 room faced both the hallway and the street. However, the bed was super comfortable. There are lots of outlets, many USB ones if you're like me and forgot to buy a converter. The location is near the Vic station, and there's a Sainsburys and several restaurants and pubs in the area
