11-02-2023 00:59Just taken receipt of my Specialised Pitch Expert, and some nice shiny DMR's (Silver Dave, not orange!! ), and for my wife's bike earlier this summer, thanks guys. And even more thanks for the dozens of little tune ups and all the advice about Finn's DMR Sect which, despite trying hard, you weren't able to supply, but have still helped us out loads. Its all very much appreciated, and it's great to have absolutely solid professional advice from friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Local bike shop - Awesome. Thanks Simon, Dave, John, Rob and the rest of you. :)

10-15-2023 20:21As someone with zero knowledge who wanted to purchase a long term, do it all bike. I can safely say that this is one of the last stores (for anything) where there is actual value in an in-person visit vs just ordering online. Much greater value! Although you do get a greater range online (I did order online), I not once felt that the half hour bus trip I made 3-4 times before actually making my purchase was a waste of time. Yes, it's better than websites u0026 forums, in my opinion. Every time I visited, staff were eager to help and I gained important bits of knowledge. There was no aggressive upselling of any kind, from the bikes themselves to the accessories - just unbiased knowledge about the products. Special thanks to Cosmo who, on my first visit, stayed with me for 1-2 hours answering every question patiently and with full detail. From things like specs to maintenance intervals to longevity and so on. He even showed u0026 explained a mapping site to me, with several local trails that I was previously unaware of. The entire conversation felt more like a hobby discussion with a friend than with a salesman. These guys beam enthusiasm about cycling and are a credit to their role. Great experience overall!

10-04-2023 15:59Saw a few bad reviews on here… really don’t seem justified at all given my experience. I popped into the shop first off to see which bikes fell within my budget. The chap in store was really helpful… talked me through the various options and highlighted the bikes that were best value for money. I then called later the same day for more info and they were just as obliging. Went in the following day after taking on their advice and checking the website. They price matched the bike I wanted to the discounted price online - and I was cycling off 15 mins after paying. Invited back after 4 weeks for a service. The guys in store were also great and offering up some advice on local trails as I’m reasonable new to the area. I can’t vouch for the online ordering experience… but visiting the store is great. Wide range of products at a competitive price with helpful staff on hand.

09-29-2023 10:24Bought a brand new hai bike trekking4 for my wife 3 rides later and lost front brake completely , messaged them and was told to get it serviced and that was normal procedure! And they would pay £15 towards it , when I commented that it had been assembled poorly they’re answer was “if it had been you would have known about it by now “ like loosing the front brakes was a minor thing , imagine doing 26kmh downhill and finding you have no brakes 🤷🏻u200d♂️. Absolutely poor after sales service I found their comment at best very unprofessional and at worst down right rude Have since had it repaired by a local hai bike dealer who informed me the brake line fitting was cross threaded in the brake reservoir causing the fluid to leak aka poorly assembled. I paid for the repairs myself and suggest cycle solutions take their £15 and … invest it in some customer relations training . Would highly recommend you purchase elsewhere.

04-18-2023 08:08The bike I bought had the chain jammed between the frame and the rear cassette, and a spindle bolt missing from the rear brake. The handle bars needed adjusting to make 90 degrees with front wheel. Just a poorly built bike. I had heard bad things before buying from this shop, but thought they may have been exaggerated. Seems like it's luck of the draw tbh.

04-03-2023 13:55Perhaps they sell good product but don't think of them as the local bike repair shop/mechanic. My problem is with the staff attitude. I tried to have a set of pre-bought mudguards installed or at least help buying the correct parts (bolts, nuts, spacers etc.) He didn't even look at my bike or the mudguards before saying it can't be done, without an actual reason. He said the parts usually come with the set. The fact was they didn't fit. That's the whole reason I came. He even told me to talk to my online seller, as if I haven't done that. It's like going to the 3rd page of google for an answer, just to be told to Google it. He could have just said he didn't have the knowledge.
