The Lindum Hotel

Room - 1. The room was cold with no heat provided and no the radiators didn't warm up regardless of the which way I turned them (see pics) 2. The room has wires protruding from one of the walls (see pics). 3. Although minor, I can clearly hear the host/guest talking in another room. Good stuff - Single bed, towel and bedding was clean. Service: 1. There is no tea, coffee, sugar provided. 2. I was provided with a dirty spoon. 3. Partner and I was booked into a room, we were told that only I could stay and my partner was made to wait outside in the rain at night (The host called Sal later verbally apologised) Good stuff - Kettle, glass and mug provided was clean and there is free WIFI to use. Location: No issues at all. Quiet area but lots of local restaurants and amenities accessible.

Bedbug droppings in all the crevices and seams of the sofa and mattress. Told them. His son came round and barely even looked and said there’s no bed bugs, didn’t use a flash light, didn’t get close enough to even look. Told the council, the council believed them over me. Lovely. Enjoy your stay if you’re placed here! Sadly the room was lovely however the occupants/housemates are very dodgy and I had two incidents where one of them was extremely inappropriate towards me. Couldn’t get a clear picture of the couch as it’s filthy.
