08-18-2023 12:19We stayed here on a weekend where Liverpool was playing at home, so the prices were obviously a lot higher. This was the cheapest hotel close to the city centre that looked to be fairly decent. But at £207 for ONE night, it was highly overpriced. Now, don't get me wrong, the staff are lovely and the location is perfect, BUT the noise through out the night meant my partner and I got less than 3 hours sleep. Now, we paid an extra £18 to get breakfast in the morning and I have never been so disappointed in my life. Firstly, there is no menu, it's just a standard continental breakfast. Our drinks order was taken quickly and the gent said he'd bring everything over to our table. After about 2 minutes our drinks arrived (my latte was basically an iced coffee). About 30 seconds later our continental breakfast arrived, what a joke. Half of a ham and cheese wrap, a stale croissant and a kids portion of porridge. Neither of us could eat the porridge as it was covered in nuts (I have a severe allergy). All in all, I would not pay more than £40 for a one night stay here and I will never opt for the breakfast. Incredibly dissatisfied

07-31-2023 06:37The hanging 230v light above the bed, collapsing shower cubicles, loose showers, rubbish condition of both rooms, urine covered toilet roll, lights not working rude staff, its easily the worst hotel ive stayed in. location was only good thing, good luck getting any nice views though

05-06-2023 13:25I am honestly conflicted about writing this review. I stayed with friends for an over night trip and had a perfectly acceptable night- the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, fab location, not much sound proofing though- you can hear everything in the rooms next to you! Unfortunately the elevator broke down during our stay which was inconvenient for the member of our group with mobility issues but I know technical issues can't be helped. I will add that the elevator looked extremely small and I'm not sure how easy it would be to fit some wheelchairs / wheelchair and carer inside so keep that in mind. On our train ride home I received an email from a member of staff asking if I had left my purse behind (red leather Michael Kors*) It had my student ID inside and an old key card so it was easily identifiable as mine. I said yes it was and I'd be happy to pay postage costs to have it back and sent over my address, the member of staff said they would send it on the next working day. A couple of days later I emailed to ask if it had been posted and was told yes. That was almost 3 weeks ago. I emailed at the start of this week asking if it had been posted again and had no response. I am now wondering if someone has decided to pocket it for themselves, which to be quite honest is funny- it was a fake from Turkey 🤣 with no cash or cards in it. If I could afford a real MK purse I wouldn't stay in a hostel! If you want the purse fine, I would just like my student ID back please!

04-01-2023 07:00The rooms are beautiful, make you feel at home. We had better treatment here than me ever had at higher end hotels (Hilton, Raddison etc) there’s toothpaste u0026 brushes robs if needed, coffee machine with coffee choices. There’s no tv but the record player makes up for that. Location was perfect, The service was great always helping but there was a shortage on staff which meant we couldn’t have the offers they had such as 2-1 cocktails. We also got woken up with very loud construction but obviously not their fault can’t be helped but would definitely be returning
