09-10-2023 06:56My fiancé and I booked this hotel for a weekend trip. Sent us to get cash because we booked using a Visa Debit which they wouldn't charge, simple mistake but they weren't very accommodating. Said we needed to pay the booking fee in cash (balance + $500 deposit). We had $500 already, but they wanted the full balance in cash and wouldn't process the card. Upon return the concierge only took the $500 and asked if we wanted to pay the remainder in cash or debit (why send us to get a $1500 if you can just charge debit?). Once that was sorted out, the porter damaged our suitcase by holding the telescopic handle and used a swinging motions to get it up the stairs (we will now need to get it serviced by Rimowa, handle doesn't retract and need to force it). Room didn't feel functional, had more closets than outlets (bed was even blocking a set of outlets on one side). There was a lot of noise from the streets. At various points of the night there would be a loud rumbling noise that would go on for quite some time (second morning around 6AM, last night around 4-5AM). . The mattress was the worst, on one side it sank in so much that it caused back pain (bad enough that my last night I didn't sleep). Just wanted to get out of there ASAP. I've stayed in 14m^2 rooms in Paris with no A/C during June that were more comfortable than this place. Next time we're going back to booking a Sonder apartment.

08-30-2023 21:08Location was convenient to the port, the room had exposed brick and wood which was so cool. The kitchenette was nice, and it was basically like a mini apartment. The downsides were for how much we paid and the “4-star rating”, and the extra resort fee of $75, it was not worth the money. No amenities, no breakfast option, nothing that I could see that was 4-star (I’d say 2-star). There was a massive centipede in the bathtub, the air conditioning didn’t work the best, the toilet backed up a little while we were touring during the day and the sewer water was a stinky when we got back, and the bed needed to be replaced (it was very broken down in the middle, making sleeping difficult due to your middle sinking in). Check-in and out was okay, a little backed up, but they didn’t ask how the stay was either. No maid service unless you’re there over a week, I believe, but that wasn’t an issue for us. It was pretty clean, and again, so close to the port, but we would opt for something else more reasonably priced or something that was worth the price we paid.

08-20-2023 07:08We had a great time in Montreal for the weekend visiting friends and staying at Auberge du Vieux-Port. The location is EXCELLENT, and we loved walking through the Old Port every day, especially in the mornings on the way to a cafe for our petit dejeuner. We had a lovely view of the river and enjoyed opening the window for some fresh air and light in the room. Vincent at the front desk was excellent and very attentive; anything we asked for we received right away from their staff of helpful attendants. The only note I would have is to request that they vacuum the rooms better before each stay. We found the room quite dusty, and we kept sneezing while we were in there. Further, next time we would consider splurging on the larger room as the smaller room didn't have much space to walk around the bed. All in all we would return!

08-01-2023 19:40Very nice room. Spacious. In a busy, fun area with lots to do and see . There's some noise because it's in a busy area. Bed is comfortable. Nice shower. Fill kitchen with microwave, 2 burner electric stove top, refrigerator and dish washer. Nice place for longer stay. Good concierge. Valet parking available. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There were lots of steps to climb for our room, so if you have issues with stairs, this is not the place for you. No water bottles supplied. TV in living area. Wifi, yes.

06-21-2023 15:17Excellent service and location. The room can improve with more mirrors. There was only one mirror and 3 ladies had to take turns in using the mirror in the washroom. Overall, we will stay in Lofts du Vieux-Port again. The concierge and service was top-notch. Chloe was professional, friendly, and simply amazing. Her team, Clay and Albert were equally fantastic. The restaurant, Pincette, is great. They treated us fabulous and accommodated our special request because we were travelling with our pet.

04-15-2023 07:32I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It is beautiful and the perfect location in old montreal. The staff were all very helpful and friendly throughout or entire stay. Our room was gorgeous and the bathroom was next level with an amazing tub and shower. Thank you to everyone there and we will definitely be back. Ps the rooftop bar is excellent as well.

03-29-2023 12:00On check-in, we got upgraded to a two-bedroom loft apartment. Overall, excellent experience. Very clean, great location and service. One thing: the gentleman at the front desk on the night shift wasn’t the most helpful. When I did get him to answer the phone, I changed our valet drop-off time in the morning from 8am to 7:45 but the message was never passed on. Make sure you book the correct time earlier in the afternoon if possible, or call again in the morning 15 mins before you need the car.

03-25-2023 02:23We had a 2 bedroom / 2 bath loft with a kitchen while traveling with our adult sons. Our loft was super roomy, comfortable, in a fantastic location, and well stocked to meet all of our needs. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast and having a night snack. The location was perfect for walking to all of the tourist sites, restaurants, grocery stores, and cafe's. I recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the tourist area who is looking for plenty of room with a wonderful staff.
