Very unprofessional service u0026 disappointing appointment confirmation policies. We were contacted on a Saturday morning literally threaten us that if we didn’t pay upfront a 20$ appointment confirmation charge that our appointment would be cancelled. For the record, we were previously good clients of Wizoo, are very good and capable payers and have always respected our appointments in the past. Given that this “supposedly” long-time policy was never mentioned to us when we originally opened our dogs file, nor was it mentioned when we took the appointment and fact that it is nowhere to be seen on their website we confirmed that we would be at our appointment however refused to pay for the reservation charge. I question the legality of the charge and the whole call was very disturbing by the way it was poorly handled. Providing our credit card details over the phone was out of the question at that point. Time of the appointment we presented ourselves, on time, as we had confirmed over the phone only to learn that our appointment had been cancelled a few hours earlier. It’s ironic how such a non-client centric policy, which is meant to prevent “no-shows”, can actually end up creating empty appointment slots through their own cancelations and also end up loosing good clients for life. We will make sure to advise everyone we know, including in social media and the dog group events we organize/participate in to not trust Wizoo with their beloved pets. They should be ashamed of their business dealings.

They want to put the welfare of living beings before anything else and I find it refreshing and heartwarming. The place in itself is well decorated and you also have access to an open bar of treats for your companion ! Unfortunately, the following is regarding the customer service I had today, that I’m not satisfied of. First, I don’t wish to be rude or disrespectful, but some things needs to be addressed in order to, hopefully, correct some aspects of the customer service. As of now, I wouldn’t return to this vet after today’s experience. I felt to be an inconvenience at my appointment with the vet, eager to leave ASAP as he entered the room. Something else seemed to be more important. I had to be quick asking my questions 3x times in a row to make him stay or he would have left already. I already am working with animals for severals years now, I have at least basic knowledge. After the consultation, I was told nothing new prior to my visit, basic stuff I already knew, even Google. Didn’t answered much my questions, instead being vague. He wouldn’t take the time with me, like it doesn’t matter. I felt my questions were annoying the vet. There is no harm in telling if something is up at your work, I would understand. Like this, it’s just looks like bad service. Needed to know how # quantity less than 1/2 for my dog. Didn’t answered my question in details, just said less. How much less? Asked multiples times, but it was the same answers. Said to keep the same amount for now since she’s sick with kennel cough but, I needed clarifications for… after the cough. Couldn’t keep up discussion since I feel he doesn’t want to be there at all. I’ve been told to see them back in 10 days to see how the dog is going, then he left the room very quickly. As for the reception I mean no offense, but the employee don’t seems to know her job. I had no new rdv taken at the front, no informations, no nothing. It tooks 30 min and more after the consultation just to prepare and to pay the meds. She was searching for the meds behind the counter and she was not sure what it was, but I’d see them just in front of her though, the apo-doxy, and then another 15 min or so just to crush it for the dilution. Another 10 min or so just to put it into the bottle. She didn’t how to put it into it. She took a post-it, spilled a little and I suggested a spoon or something. After that made me wait even more because there were other customers and I’d have to wait after them since she needed to explain to me the dosages labeled on the bottle. After waiting all along she then proceeds to read me the label but she has trouble understanding it. I understand if she is in training, but I would suggest a mentor present to oversee her work if she is to prepare such prescriptions while there is a lack of sufficient experience/knowledge. I felt the need to over-check her work in order to avoid an error in the prescription because I could see she was clearly not confident in what she was doing. I simply cannot be confident myself in the medication I’ve been given, specially for me to give my companion, when the employee in question is confused and unsure about it. The very day before, a employee gave the wrong dosage to a member of my family for their dog, and for the exactly illness I’ve been given today. Caused an overdosage of (100ml•2)200ml of Apo-doxy as a daily dose for a 6 pounds dog… It looks like they didn’t know they needed to dilute it before giving it, for a daily dose of 6ml (3ml•2) but instead gave undiluted pills of 100ml/each to a client that trusts the clinic with the life of their companion, which puked 3 times this wrong dosage the same morning, fortunately. I’m pretty sure the person will be talked to, but if it’s this same employee that I saw today, I don’t know what to say. Didn’t knew much more today either. Sometimes, an exterior vision can help to improve things. Overall, everyone was kind. I think to first notice what need’s oiling, helps for further growth. I had a great experience during my consultation with Dr. Guénette when my ferret Buck wasn't well. After a checkup and treatment it's like he gained 5 more years of life haha. It's the only exotic vet around that didn't drain my wallet and the vet has a good amount of experience. I'm also happy with the staff members, very polite and helpful. Overall a good vet to go to. Would definitely recommend to fellow ferret owners!!

One of the assistants was rude the way she talked to me wasn’t appropriate it’s my favourite vet but since now I’ll change my vet otherwise the doctors are good

Love this vet. Dr Sarah Annie Guénette is amazing and took very good care of our cat through his neutering experience, even after he had a seizure due to an allergic reaction to the anesthesia. Even during post-op she continues to take very good care of him. We are very happy with her
