Pet Emergency and Trauma Services

It might go without saying that when you need an emergency vet for your fur baby (or a lost fur baby) the family is in crisis. CEV staff is the best. They are so caring. I have taken numerous lost pups there to have them checked out for a chip. They are always helpful. When our babies had to visit the vet team is wonderful. I couldn’t be there for my daughter the other night when our Charlie was hit by a car. It broke my heart she had to handle this alone. She said CEV staff was wonderful in their time of crisis. I must add that they are very helpful navigating you thru the payment process. I’m so thankful we have an after hours vet close to home.

First and foremost, I would like to give 5 stars to the staff. The receptionist was so kind and the vet tech was truly amazing. Shout out to Cassie who was just phenomenal. The three stars is for the actual veterinarian. I’m not sure if the vet was a fill in as this occurred the evening of Thanksgiving and her name was not one of the vets listed on the office card I received. There was no face time with the vet and no remote answers as to what could be going on with my pet. I didn’t even see the vet until she came to take care of the euthanasia, and unfortunately the vet came in the room and started pushing meds without explaining the process at all. Once my pet had passed, the vet began to pick him up without asking if we needed more time, almost as if our time was up and we needed to go. The lack of direct communication, no availability to ask questions and lack of compassion from the vet specifically was disappointing. I hope others do not have the same experience with this particular vet.

My wife went here last night with our 12 year old dog. It was in the middle of the night and the staff was amazing. They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The facility was clean and comfortable for for my wife and dog. It was such a good experience to be around them in such a difficult situation. If we ever need anything again, we will not hesitate to use this group.

Everyone was so kind and gentle with my dog Bella. Dr. Kay was so nice and walked me through everything and allowed us to grieve and process what was happening. I was so thankful for the staff. I wish we could have had Dr. Kay as our vet from day one of being in town. Thank you for your professionalism and thank you to the staff for being so helpful and comforting.

Took my dog in late at night. Very satisfied with the friendliness, quick response, thorough review of everything, great customer service. I thought the price was a bit higher than it should have been. However, I am not complaining. My questions were answered and my dog is much better now.

Visited the emergency pet clinic, where the vet tech's 'few minutes' felt like a time travel experiment gone wrong. I'm pretty sure I left a different person than when I walked in. Maybe they have a secret portal to a parallel universe where time operates at a slower pace. On the upside, my pet has a newfound talent for dramatic sighs and eye rolls. If you're into slow-motion emergencies, this place is a must-visit.

Staff and the doctor were very nice, compassionate, and respectful. I did not mind waiting, as I knew they had other acute, emergent visits that came in. Folks need to be mindful of what a true emergency/trauma entails. These folks are dedicated to the well-being and comfort of our animals. They took care of my little dachshund, and I was very happy with the treatment. Thank you all so much for what you do!

My dog is constantly coughing and hacking non-stop and they're telling me that I have to sit in my car for 2 hour wait before I can bring him in with him in the car. He's 90 lb dog. And she didn't even act concerned when I first called and told him the situation they she just told me don't sound like a big issue. Take him to your vet next week. So I had to come up with the video and show her and she still didn't act like she even cared. Will not be taking my animal to this place. They're all about the dollar, not the dog.
