Waterloo Walk-In Clinic

This clinic is outstanding. The doctors are always lovely and take their time with myself and my children. Really great with kids and understanding of time as they allow you to arrive and come back if there are long waits. Yes, it gets busy but I get why! Thanks for all of your help!

This clinic is wonderful. A lot of people complaining about wait times..it's a walk in clinic..of course they get busy during peak times. Considering how many people come in daily, the staff and doctors are so nice. I'm sure they have to put up with lots but they keep a positive attitude. I see one of the doctors weekly for an injection and he is so friendly and a makes coming back each week a positive experience. I would recommend to anyone.

Wrote on the form that I was allergic to a medication and they prescribed it anyway, just with a different name -.-' Wait time was reported to be 45 minutes but ended up taking around 2.5 hours. Actual appointment was 2 minutes Doctor was nice though

I visited with my 8 year old son and realized the clinic was at full capacity at 11am. The nurse was so nice and advised me of another location to try, I explained this was my 3rd location. She was SO kind and asked the doctor if he could squeeze my son in. The doctor said yes. She also said I didn't have to wait in the clinic and to come back for 230. They also called to let me know the doctor was ready to see him. The office is also very clean and organized, quick, efficient, empathetic. As a mom I am so thankful they actually cared about my child. He ended up having strep and I'm so glad they saw him. Thank you guys so much .

The quality of service depends on the time you go. I came in yesterday at around 6:40pm and the receptionist was yelling at the person in front of me, and when I walked up to her she told me they weren’t accepting patients with an attitude. I came today much earlier, at 11:30am and it was a different receptionist and she was great. I was in and out within 30 minutes and Dr. Mohamed was very efficient. I understand the clinic can get busy and stressful but there should be a sign on the door when the clinic is no longer accepting patients, or a different way of communication.

I had no issues with wait time and people working around. It was not so busy. The Doctor (guy) was really rude to me. He wasn’t not even ready to hear what I want to say and he wants me to leave. If he is in such a hurry and can’t even talk to patients properly why do this job. All I want is to get a doctors note and he isn’t ready to hear me out. Not going to this place ever. Thanks to the doctor.

I always get fast service here. Reception area is never more than a couple of hours' wait, and the doctors take prompt action. This is not the kind of place to go spill your guts for 30 min and get sympathy. But if you want quick and efficient results, this place is great. I've seen several doctors here over the years, and none of them brush me off or make me feel like I'm imagining symptoms. They promptly take action to order diagnostics, prescribe medication, or make referrals.

They are very busy - from my experience, the waiting time is around 2.5-3 hours. Usually, I check in and then go outside for a walk or to read a book in the UWaterloo library because you can always multiply the waiting time they told you by 1.5-2 times. I guess they do their best with the volume of patients they get. I had good luck with doctors listening to me and giving me referrals/prescriptions that I wanted to get. But you better be a bit assertive so that you don't get dismissed after a 3 minute conversation.
