12-04-2023 16:25Used to be my home town for 11 years! Very happy to come back! This Sheraton would be the top hotel in City of Hamilton from my point of view. It is a historic and decent Sheraton Hotel that has very professional and well trained staff! Joe from Front Desk was very amiable, kind, helpful, and unassuming staff who made me feel very welcomed! The room was specious, clean, and comfortable with beautiful views. The restaurant Chagall’s has nice layout, great customer service as well as delicious food. Also great location in the centre of Hamilton Downtown which closes to all the attractions and amenities! Everything was so enjoyable and memorable! Highly recommended!

11-22-2023 01:50Room itself was very nice. Clean, well maintained. Check in and check out was fast and simple. Front desk agents were helpful and efficient. Appreciated the feature to receive a text when room is ready. One con to consider is that the area around the hotel is sketchy especially at night.

08-24-2023 03:33Room was very clean, we had a deluxe king room and were extremely pleased with how spacious and clean the room and bathroom were. However, we came here for our wedding night and check in was an extreme hassle. As we were checking in the front desk staff was polite until we ran into some issues, and his attitude completely 360’d. We had called ahead to book our room, and spoke directly to a representative, explained that the stay was a gift from our relatives and that we would be using their card to pay for the room. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and polite and said it was no issue, she just had to speak with the relative to double check the card info which we did and she said all was good and we would have no problem checking in. That was not the case, when trying to explain to the staff that we called and was told it was all clear I was told that “The lady doesn't work in that hotel so it means nothing” even though it was the representative for the company that their hotel site has the number on for booking. While trying to figure it out after that the staff was less than nice and told us he would “get his manager because its above him”. While the manager was slightly nicer than him, it was still less than the standard I had hoped for as I have stayed in multiple Sheraton Marriott hotels before using the same relatives card and never had this level of difficulty. The relative gifting us this stay was even on the phone willing to talk and verify the card to him and we were told that he could not check us in unless she came down to the hotel. I should mentioned we had a late check in at 11pm and the relative in question is my 93 year old grandmother who cannot drive. As we were talking to the manager explaining the situation the first staff member was standing next to him making little remarks with quite the attitude to the other guests about how “its gonna take a long time” to sort us out. Eventually it got so ridiculous trying to reason with staff that we had to call family and get someone to handle it as it was our honeymoon night and I was getting extremely overwhelmed by the hostility we received. The hotel was very nice but I will never stay here again thanks to the staff. If you stay here and have any issues checking in I recommend asking for the manager right away and not dealing with Kevin's less than friendly attitude.

08-09-2023 22:18From the moment you walk through the doors you are greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile. I arrives early, due to an early flight and the desk staff were able to store and luggage. Once a room became ready they were able to check me in. Great front desk staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Even the security guard is helpful and friendly. I had a great stay and looking forward to going back. Full size amenities in the washroom...I really wanted to take them with me 😀. Dining room on site has amazing food. Friendly staff and they really go above and beyond. 🥗

05-28-2023 00:01Beautiful hotel with plenty of amenities, highly recommend the club level for the extra perks. The club lounge always has something going on and the breakfast service is among the best I’ve ever received. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is parking close to the hotel entrance is limited. It’s a large parking garage but only limited spots close to hotel entrance.

05-20-2023 13:38Checked in very late on a Monday, and it went rather quickly, almost too quickly, but at that point, I was too tired to care to question. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable with more than enough pillows. Lots of storage areas for our things, and a good supply of towels and toiletries. The room didn't have a microwave, and for the price we paid was rather surprised. I don't know if any of the rooms offer one, to be honest, and it's disappointing. The fridge was tiny, but enough to keep our drinks cold. There was zero information in the room regarding if there was room service or what was local to the hotel for food. The pool was very small and lackluster. Towels were well stocked there, which was nice to see. There was an outdoor deck area, but it can only really accommodate one group of people. The unique feature of this hotel is how connected it is. Using a pedestrian bridge, we were able to access the Hamilton Convention Centre, and the hotel is also connected to Jackson Square Mall. Tim Horton's, Starbucks, Dollarama, and more within a quick walk without having to go outside. Let's just say I felt a lot safer than having to go outside. Security is always at the door, and they were super friendly. Checkout was quick and easy. Overall, it's not a bad stay.

04-26-2023 17:12Had the pleasure of staying for an overnight. Check in was seamless and front staff were very polite and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. After checkout, I had an accident in the parking garage that left my rear windshield in a million pieces. I would really like to thank all of the staff for their help. Front desk provided me with cardboard and tape and a few minutes later Collin, the manager was in the parking garage asking if we were ok, if we needed anything and how could he assist. He brought with him another employee who vacuumed all the glass from my vehicle. I am so appreciative of the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. Well done! Thank you Collin and staff
