11-24-2023 08:02I’ve unfortunately had to attend the ER twice, once for myself and once for my child over the last few months. I hear people complain about the wait times but I’m honestly happy. A longer wait means you aren’t the highest risk. The first time I knew that was the case and only needed a tetanus shot after an accident. The second time my child slipped on a towel on his floor and put his hand through glass on the way down, requiring stitches. His wait was shorter, and rightfully so. The moral of the story: you’re seen faster if you’re actively bleeding and/or need the attention fastest. But the staff are friendly, they care, they’ll give you all the dressings and supplies you need and you will walk away cared for. How lucky we are to not walk away with a $40,000 bill each time.

11-09-2023 22:18I don't know if I got lucky, but my wait time was less than 40 minutes. The registration and triage took longer than the wait for the doctor. All nurses and technicians were amazing and respectfull. I've only been to Toronto hospitals before and my wait times were never less than 4 hours. I hope everyone else gets the same experience I did.

07-30-2023 19:09Getting a doctor here is difficult, rather than finding a diamond in the coal mine. The whole emergency department was empty, and yet I waited for 4.5 hours. No one cares if someone is waiting for how long. 3 hours I waited outside and then 1.5 gours for doctor. No one came to me. No one said why its delayed at the end. I left telling them I would go to the pharmacy. It seems the authorities have been taking a deep sleep, and they left the people to suffer like this daily on the mercy of an unknown. I imagine what would have been the scenario if the population was 100 million. Next time, I would advise someone coming here to be prepared and bring the following items with you. 1. A power bank to recharge mobile. 2. Plenty of food because your breakfast lunch dinner supper everything will come here. 3. Arm and neck pillow to take a nap. 4. Plenty of patience. Don't know how to express my disappointment.

07-15-2023 15:59A month I was taken to the hospital after being in a car accident. I waited in the hall way for about 10min before being taken into a room, which wasn’t too long. Once I got to the room, I waited about 45min before anyone saw me, which was a Dr, who briefly looked me over and asked question. Sent me for X-rays, before going to X-rays I was taken into the hallway, where a technician saw me to use a portable ultrasound machine to check for any internal bleeding, had to lift up my shirt in the hallway for him to check my chest and abdomen area, he was just a kid both him and I felt uncomfortable. After being taken to X-ray they sent me back to the room where the dr gave the results of no broken bones and to just rest as the next few days were going to be painful and discharged me. Before leaving a few nurses came in to take my vitals, they said they were liking all over for me, guess they didn’t check the hallway, they didn’t even clean up my cut in my chi and the dried up blood before letting me go. The one star is for the poor health care we have due to the poor government that we have. Staff were very friendly it shows the lack of support, this was around noon on a Wednesday. Can’t imagine the lack of support they have during the evening and weekends when it’s busier. Our government needs to do better, and private health isn’t the answer.

06-04-2023 20:25Nurse Nancy that worked the evening of Nov 24th, you were amazing. After waiting more than 5 hours, you knew when nurse Nancy took over for the evening. She introduced herself as well as her co-worker working the evening. She got a hold of people over the phone to do blood work and you could tell she cared for all her patients because she came over and spoke to all of them. She updated me on my wait time (which no one else did) and that put me at ease a little. Nurse Nancy if you’re reading this, I hope your life is filled with happiness and laughter because you deserve all the kindness you’ve shown to your patients that night and I’m sure every day as well. God bless! You’re the only reason I’m giving this a 5-star review.

04-20-2023 12:34I had to walk out after waiting for like 4.5 hours. Before that, they put me in a bed, across from a patient, who was clearly incoherent. I had to leave. I was upset and frustrated. I'm in a lot of pain and discomfort. I feel like nobody cares, anymore. Walk in clinics, don't exist anymore. You have to make an appt for the walk in clinics, now. Don't bother making said appts because they're booked full or non existence.
