11-26-2023 03:07My first time coming here I usually drive all the way to Mississauga for South Indian clothing but I found huma much closer to my home. The service was amazing I found everything I needed and more I got free stitching for my dress and at a discounted price everything is top quality and beautiful I will be returning!

08-26-2023 13:09I came to Huma because a close friend is getting married and his bride to be asked us to wear traditional clothing to their ceremonies and reception! They were so helpful in finding me an outfit for both events, they pulled alot of different stuff for me to try ! I felt like I was putting on a fashion show for them and theyd fix/critique/compliment! Once I picked my outfits she tailored them right there and I was on my way! Great prices and helpful !! Recommend if you dont want to head to Brampton/Vaughn/Mississauga !!

07-15-2023 20:29I had the most horrendous experience with this tailoring shop. I brought in my favourite saree’s blouse to be altered and they completely ruined it. They literally made the front side the back side of the blouse. The stitching was uneven, the fit was completely off, and to make matters worse, they charged me a ridiculous $80 for their shoddy work. Now, with my event in just two days, I have to fix the blouse myself because they couldn't be bothered to do it right. I would never recommend this shop to anyone and advise you to stay far away if you value your clothes and your wallet.

07-10-2023 08:09I discovered this amazing boutique from my sister-in- law and it completely exceeded my expectations! The customer service was outstanding, the selection was incredible, the prices were reasonable, and the tailoring was impeccable. The staff treated me like a valued friend and helped me find the perfect items. They had a huge variety of clothing and the prices were surprisingly affordable. Plus, their tailoring service made everything fit me like it was custom-made.

05-26-2023 17:24If I could give this tailoring shop zero stars, I would. Not only did they ruin my blouse but they had the audacity to charge me a very high fee for their subpar work. The stitching was uneven and the fit was completely off. To add insult to injury, the aunty who did the alterations was incredibly adamant that what she did was right, even though it was clear that she had no idea what she was doing. Now, with my event just two days away, I have to fix the blouse myself because this shop couldn't be bothered to do their job correctly. I am beyond disappointed and will never return to this shop again. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere for your tailoring needs.

03-30-2023 08:35Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I visited this shop to look at outfits for a wedding. When walking in a man was behind the counter, I said hello he looked up stared at us and looked down saying nothing. I then had to ask for assistance, he did not respond again but called upstairs to another lady. When she came down she asked what we were looking for and directed us to those clothing styles. However she then sat down on this platform put her legs up and did nothing to actually help. As we looked in this mess of a store and inquired about prices she continued to sit. I liked a possible outfit and asked if she could put it on hold until Monday I wanted to think about it first. At first she said yes, then as I continued to look she changed her mind. Trying to make a sale saying she can't hold it, it's a popular colour and she can't guarantee it will be here. That's fair but not what she first said. I was feeling annoyed at this point and felt like my presence was inconvenient and bothersome. So we left not buying anything and I did not go back. I also will not be back. To be treated rudely from the moment walking in to seeming like a bother, is not a place I would support or spend my money.

03-29-2023 20:10I went to Huma Boutique to purchase apparel for a HINDI wedding ceremony. The husband and wife owners were very nice and helpful as I am not of Indian descent. I picked out some outfits with their help. I couldn't share photos of the clothing with the bride-to-be as there was no internet. So I left with 2 outfits and jewelry for the upcoming events. When I arrived home and sent photos to the bride-to-be, she said the outfits were not appropriate for a HINDI wedding as they were more for a MUSLIM event! I am so glad I checked with her before I go to the wedding. I would look totally out of place especially as I am mother of the groom and perhaps I might have even offended some guests. So now I have spent $$$ for clothing and I'm stuck with them as I seem to recall a small sign in the store that said, No refunds or returns. I did check with the owner who said, you liked it, you bought it, no return or exchange This makes me very sad after my 180 mile trip over 7 hours. Very upsetting especially when he assured me it was appropriate for a HINDI wedding.
