Want in to pick up some new living room blinds. 3 sets u003d $500. Zero customer service. Approached 2 ppl who work there. They were sitting down on their cell phones. Asked for their help and was told not tonight jerks! We will be going to Lowe's from now on.

I have been going to home depot for over 15 years since becoming a homeowner. Last year alone I spent over 10k on home renovations. I recently purchased a dishwasher from home depot at the beginning of may. The first dishwasher that arrived was the wrong type and needed to be returned. The second dishwasher that was delivered was defective. It is now mid august and the brand new dishwasher won't drain. Each visit has cost countless hours as they needed to book separate appointments to deliver and to install. No one seems to care at all about the issue and there has been no attempt to rectify. To say that I'm dissatisfied after 4 months without a dishwasher is a gross understatement. I would encourage you to shop elsewhere.

This is my local Home Depot and perhaps I just got used to the good service. My visit on July 2 was above and beyond from two perspectives. First, I was looking for a product in the garden centre not on shelf but apparently in stock. Even though they were busy, the team found it on a pallet and brought it down. Some may see this as 'the job' but I was impressed with the enthusiasm to find what I was looking for. The second was in the hardware department. I was looking for a replacement spring latch which apparently is not sold as an individual item. The team member told me to hang on while he climbed a ladder to his magical box of spare parts, found what I was in need of and handed it to me - free of charge. Sadly did not take the time to mention this at the customer service desk but rest assured, this will be my go to store for a long time. Thank you!

A smaller location, but still relatively well stocked. Friendly knowledgeable staff that take the time to assist you. Can be busy during high demand times (i.e weekends) as you would expect. Some difficulties with deliveries as HD HQ contracts 3rd parties for this service and therefore the level of service provided by these 3rd parties it is out of the control of the local store. But the staff go above and beyond to correct anything that may not go as planned. My suggestion is to get your delivery arrangement for a bit earlier than you would need the materials to allow for time to navigate anything that might occur.

There’s a few people in the returns department that are absolutely rude. They seem to want to enforce their own imaginary return policies. Returned a brand new, unused item with plastic wrap opened two days after purchase. Was given a hard time for not having the plastic wrap, really?! Had to ask 4 times to reference the corporate return policy, until a manager had to be called. It appears associates need better training on store policies, as well as some manners wouldn’t hurt. It was even suggested I should have tried the product without removing the clear plastic wrap! Brutal! If employees want to enforce a no returns policy on open box items perhaps they should challenge corporate HD on that instead of being rude to the customer. I was still given attitude even after the manager approved the return!

This is not your typical big box hardware store..: the people all are experts in their area. It’s service so good, the employees genuinely enjoy their jobs. So much selection and just off the ring road. Oh and you can bring your dog there!! Took our pups in winter when it was too cold outside and they were welcomed with treats.
