08-23-2023 11:28Quite a few good storage ideas and lots of homemaking supplies. I like the mix of furniture and home items and some of the show rooms are lovely. The piano in one room for passers-by to play is a nice touch. Lots of walking but if you know want you want from online you could just walk in the exit where the warehouse is and get it there, or order online and pick up with click and collect. The toilets were well kept. Parents and children seemed to be enjoying themselves in the kids area.

08-22-2023 22:47Every year, I eagerly await the arrival of New Year and Christmas holidays, and one of my traditions is preparing my apartment, which includes buying candles from Ikea. I have a particular fondness for the apple-shaped VINTERFINT candle (article number 705.518.66) and make it a point to purchase it annually. While I used to buy it in another country, I recently moved to Australia. To my surprise and disappointment, I noticed that in the Canberra shop, VINTERFINT candles are additionally wrapped in a colored carton package. This is a new feature as I have never seen these apple-shaped candles with additional packaging before. It appears that this additional wrap is consistent across all of Australia. I am puzzled about why Ikea feels the need to include this extra packaging. The candle is already a well-designed product with its own covering (upper part of apple), ensuring the scent is preserved. In my opinion, the additional carton wrapping seems unnecessary and contributes to resource wastage for what seems like marketing purposes. The candle would sell itself without this extra packaging, and the use of unnecessary carton material that will eventually end up in the rubbish bin raises concerns, especially considering the resources needed for recycling. I find it perplexing that corporations promote impressive sustainability reports while, in reality, they utilize resources without genuine necessity, seemingly for marketing purposes. This practice appears akin to greenwashing, and it's sad, particularly when coming from a company that claims to care about nature. The staff is very helpful and friendly though.

05-10-2023 02:19Quality items always with a good competitive price. If you know what to buy you can use the route maps placed on store to shorten your walk in store and quickly navigate to correct department. Oh and don't forget to go to the discounted section at the warehouse to pick some bargains also.

04-30-2023 19:03Not recommended for people who are triggered by mazes or labyrinths. The store is laid out so that you have to pass every section of the store, which means that it takes way longer to fit to the checkjout counter than it should, especially when you after a specific item.
