Apex Contracting recently completed a restoration of existing hardwood floors. They were professional and showed up on time and completed the work as outlined and ahead of schedule. Overall very happy with the work and would recommend Apex for any hardwood sanding/refinishing needs

These guys did an amazing and very meticulous job of refinishing a hand made dove tailed 150 year old stair case back to its former glory for us. This was stripped right down to bare wood, tightened up and even another contractors work tidied up as well as a bonus. Great Ideas, a great talented friendly crew and a reasonable price for the amount of work needed. We would highly recommend Randy and his crew at Apex for your wood refinishing needs and even drywall repair.

Randy and his team has done an incredible job. Went above and beyond. It is fascinating to see the precision with which they work. Came across many surprises while working (like molds under floor, no insulation behind drywall, poor plumbing etc.) but they have always informed us and recommended the best solutions. After the work was done, they cleaned up all the dust, debris and made all the surrounding look pristine. Not to mention that they are amazingly friendly. I highly recommend them. They deserve 5 stars. Randy and Ray also helped us with many other things like washer u0026 dryer leveling issue, water leak issue, over the stove microwave balance issue etc.

I am thrilled with the refinished hardwood floors in my 3 bedrooms. The original floors were quite worn and in need of repair. Randy provided comprehensive, competitive quotes and was able to complete the job on schedule and within a very reasonable time frame. The finish and tone of the floors was exactly what I wanted/expected from the photos that Randy showed me when he came out to provide a quote. The team (Chris and Josh) was professional and hard working, and I appreciated the time and care they took in my home. I will definitely be using Apex again for future floor refinishing!

Firstly, I have hired Apex Contracting to refinish my kitchen floor u0026 fix my 3 step-stairs off the kitchen to the side door of my home. Each stair is a different height, they are partially finished (only the step part is finished), u0026 they are a major tripping hazard (this was the case when we moved in). Rest assured, Randy came to see the space, gave us a fantastic quote, ensured us he could fix the stairs, u0026 then we got to talking about other home renos that were currently going on. Randy noticed we had widened 2 door frames in our home to accommodate moving furniture u0026 to just open our spaces up (we have a home with narrow door frames). Randy offered his services to complete the door frames. He assured me he would finish the work in a timely manner u0026 at a fair cost. He delivered on this ten fold! He completed plaster patching u0026 drywall corners. He was knowledgeable, respectful, u0026 prompt with his work. He accommodated my home in his schedule as he knew I had a painter coming to my home within a week u0026 the door frames had to be complete. His communication skills are excellent; he told me when he was arriving u0026 showed up ready to work! It is clear he takes great pride in helping others with their home. His pricing for this job was more than fair, as was his quote for the bigger finishing project he's doing for me in the near future (review to come!).
