Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour

I appreciated the service at this hotel - I was allowed to check in early as my room was ready - as well as the cleanliness of the room and the proximity to downtown. However, the walls were very thin and I could easily hear people from the adjoining room and hallway, who were not quiet (but were also not being obnoxious). I had to wear ear plugs and turn on white noise loudly in order to drown out the sound. If you want a value choice and aren’t noise sensitive, this could be a good option. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Wir waren im Juni 2023 für zwei Nächte im Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour in Victoria. Das Hotel ist praktisch gelegen, es sind zu Fuß gerade mal ca. 5 Minuten bis zum Hafen. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer das relativ klein aber schön eingerichtet war. Das Bett hätte gerne etwas breiter sein dürfen. Dafür war es sauber. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Auto kann man in der hoteleigenen Garage parken. Ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen. Für ein Frühstück kann ich das Cora empfehlen (lediglich ca. 200 m die Straße runter).

It is old and careworn, the air vents are very loud and the coffee station wasn't stocked in our room. The pool is tiny, but there, same as the fitness room. But we booked it for the location which was phenomenal. And that was the point. We did really like that they had coffee available in the lobby.

I was looking for an affordable option that had a great location, too. Not only is this place so VERY close to the best areas of downtown, it is on a quiet street, so you will hear no noise. I liked that it is in a classic building. There is also a pool, which we did not have time to visit. We thought the room was big enough, and had a lot of good storage options, and good size. The best were the check-in staff who helped us with many recommendations, and also provided luggage storage once we checked out. This place may be more affordable than other options, but you are getting a LOT for what you pay.
