Tuesdays Drycleaners

One of the best Dry Cleaners I've ever used. Never had any problems because I communicate clearly what I need, am friendly and polite and I get that in return. I forgot about a Duvet I was going to sell and two years later I asked them to look for it and they had it. They don't throw items out and that is as good as it gets.

I first visited these cleaners in 1994 and then after one visit the proprietor remembered my name and continues to do so. Quick, efficient, economical, and great service. In Addition there are many more reasons they have been named Burnaby's Best Dry Cleaners so many times!

This is the place clothes become FAB-U-LOUS again. That is all. But wait! There's more! This is THE PLACE in Burnaby that has won the Best of Burnaby several times (I think it's 9?) - in a row. Dry Cleaners Tuesday is also the tried and tested dry cleaners for your wedding gowns - 14 friends of mine have taken theirs here - all are very happy customers. Short notice? No problem! They can do quick turn around times (there is a bit of a charge for that). Prices, better than what you'll find downtown. Service - with a smile, go in there twice and you'll never be forgotten. Very handy location, just up the street from Value Village, so if you discover a real find that needs some help - they can do it. Parking is slim pickings, but you're only there for a few minutes. The view is great too... across from the Fire Dept :) A special note to people with allergies - bring your dry cleaning here. Just do it. I have severe allergies and this location does not use the same chemicals you'll find your clothes stinking of from other dry cleaners.

Don’t even bother wasting your time if you want anything with fast quality services. They do not do next day, even three day service if is what you are looking for, got that feeling like they just do not want or need your business. Reason I ask is because I have my suit already there a week ago, and they were not ready at the pick up they provided. Not recommended.

I brought a blanket (double-bed sized) to be drycleaned at this location. They promptly sent me away telling me that my comforter (roughly 80 x 80) was too large to be drycleaned, and that they can't provide recommendations on who could dryclean it.

Two words to describe the owner: incompetent and arrogant. Do NOT go here, unless you want your things ruined and be blamed for their mistakes. I had used this shop for a few years, mostly to clean my comforters and some dry cleaning. Couple of weeks ago, I had my parents pick up one of my comforters that I had left with the shop. When they were picking it up, the owner pointed out there were some stains and that he couldn't remove them. My parents trusted the owner and assumed the stains were there before I left it with the cleaners and just brought it home. But when I saw what they brought back, I knew the stains were new -- as can be seen in the first picture, they are a bunch of red splatters right in the middle of the comforter, quite obvious to the naked eye. I did not see such stains when I removed the outer cover to take the comforter to the cleaners. I called the shop later in the same day to inquire, and the owner was quite adamant that it must've been there before as he claimed it wasn't possible that it could've gotten on there while it was in their shop. It was a back and forth of he-said-she-said and wasn't going anywhere, so I just gave in. Unfortunately, on the same day when my parents picked up the first stained comforter, they had dropped off another comforter to have cleaned. So on the phone, I asked the owner to please check the second comforter so that we could establish there were no pre-existing stains. He confirmed there were no stains on the second comforter. Today, my parents picked up the second comforter. I opened it up and voila, THERE WERE STAINS (see second picture with black burnt-looking dot). I called the shop and the same owner picked up the phone. I explained what I found and it was the same kind of response as the first instance -- he said there were no stains when he packed it up after it was washed and didn't understand how there could be stains. He suggested I bring in the comforter to show them the stain so that he could ASSESS if it would be eligible for a refund??? Of course by this point I was furious -- just his whole demeanor around how it could never possibly be their fault and I'm making this up to get some money back??? Acting like he is offering some great customer service to a difficult customer, when really it’s them who made mistakes (twice in a row!). I told him he can keep the money but that he should run his business properly. Clearly, there's some sort of issue somewhere in their process that is resulting in poor quality output in recent days, but the owner is too arrogant to admit it and try to do something about it. Instead they will just assume the worst of their customers and act like they are being taken advantage of. I will obviously never go back to this shop for anything, and WARN OTHERS TO AVOID this place as well.

The owner perfectly cleaned an old stain in my white jacket. He is proficient and skillful in cleaning clothes, and takes gentle care. He is very kind and has a keen eye for detail.

NOt coming back here. The people in here told us our total charge was going to be 65 when I dropped off the clothes.When I came back to pick them up, the price magically raised to over $90. The clothe didn't smell good and service was not quick. I don't recommend it at all.
