Spotlight Innaloo

Came here today to buy a few things from the home decor department and can honestly say it was a pleasant experience. Shelves were stocked, the store was clean and I was served by a really lovely girl named abbey who did an excellent job even though the store was really busy. I guess the only downfall would be how little staff they have serving at the front counters. Will definitely be coming back :))

We went shopping with my mum and found two blankets in a container marked $30. However, one of them was just cling-wrapped. We asked a staff member named Sam to help us determine if there was any price difference. Instead of providing assistance, Sam responded in a disrespectful and sassy manner, instructing us to put the blankets back where we found them and back into the bag, even though the bag was already opened. I have no idea if the minimum level of assistance Sam provides or if it aligns with his job description, but I sincerely hope that the company compensates his rude and unprofessional attitude with a bare minimum wage. Keep your sassy remarks for your close friends, people at social gatherings, your family, or your co-workers, but not for customers who spend their time and money to support the store and give you more shifts on the roster.

This Spotlight is massive. It is packed of so many products. Everything from bedding, cookware to fabrics. And so many choices available of every product. I was so happy with my mirror purchase that I did online. It was very easy to collect from the friendly front counter staff. And the young lady (Staff) in glasses section on Friday 8th January was super helpful. Showed me all the different brands and sizes of glasses available. I will visit this Spotlight from now on as I was so impressed with the amount of choice available.

Hired a helium tank on return told all is fine when returned with original card to receive our bond, told tank is damaged and store unable to return bond. When asked for explanation on why this wasn’t explained or how tank was damaged, management offered explanation of ‘staff who did return doesn’t like confrontation’. Very poor behaviour

Never normally shop at this store but wow it's much bigger than my usual Spotlight. Unfortunately that's the only good thing. The queues were ridiculous. Clearly not enough staff. There was no bike parking and absolutely no where to lock up my bike. Was told rather rudely it was because that there aren't enough bike riders. How would you know given that any bike riding customers would just go elsewhere?

Never knew it was so big on the inside, very well stock up. Best part good price and with VIP card further discount. I used my Anaconda card. I like their Smash food container for school lunch and snack. Their tea light candles are cheaper then those Ikea. Their bed linen range we also like and most of the time on sale. Staff are so friendly and helpful.

The staff here always seem unhappy and disinclined to help, they try to get rid of you as quick as possible. The shelves are often missing huge sections of stock and frustratingly sparse. When I have enquired I have been told that it is the brand reps not taking care of their section, or that it is still empty because of the covid lockdown in 2020. The staff on the floor just seem miserable, they are sometimes more pleasant at the counters. Morale needs a boost.

Great shop fully stocked great prices. Lots of home necessities.
