Needed heat pump fan motor replaced. Owner Josh and technician Shaun were top notch. Both were extremely professional and communicative. Helped us better understand our heat pump and how to look after it. Highly recommended.

Rock Electrical did all the wiring on our new first aid and storage facility at Kingston Beach. They were extremely flexible in working with (and around!) other contractors on the build. Their advice and communication was absolutely first class. Its great to be able to support a local company that provides service and does what they promised, when they promised.

James and Dan arrived on time, removed their shoes before entrying (without me asking them) were exceptionally helpful and polite and even did extra's for me and left everything clean and tidy. We first had work done by Josh and his team when we had our kitchen replaced soon after buying our first home. There was a lot of fiddly bits and pieces, including having to wire up all the heritage style power points and light switches as well as mount them to backboards that we had purchased to give the best look to our new (older style) kitchen. Nothing was a problem and all the work was done on time, and as quoted. Since then Rock Electrical has been our sole electrical contractor for the ongoing renovation of our house, and have done an extensive re wiring and board upgrade, outdoor power points, lighting and more. Josh is very responsive and communicative if things change for reasons outside anyone's control, and every task has been started and finished with care and precision, attention to detail and always accommodating some of our more obscure requirements. I highly recommend Rock Electrical, as we've had such great dealings with Josh and his team over the last 12 months.

The best electrical contractor I have used. Period. Josh, James and Dan did a fantastic job wiring up a new shed. Their work is neat as, and Josh's advice on lighting options created a better outcome than we expected. Finally, a tradesman who turns up when he says he will, does itemised quotes, tidied up after themselves and amazingly at the end of the day, gave me an invoice for less than the quoted amount because he was able to source better prices on the day.

Trades people in Hobart were super busy when I called Josh at Rock Electrical. He was the only one of 3 sparky's that I called who actually took my call. He was on another job- but took my call anyway and told me he would call back when he got the chance. He called back the same day. Brilliant. The following day he came out to look at the job at hand and gave a quote and some really salient advice. I gave him the job to rewire the entire house. He always took my calls when he could and always called back promptly when he couldn't. Anyone that has a renovation or building protect would know that an unresponsive trades person can slow your project down. Not because you can't have them onsite 'yesterday'- but because you cant plan things out when you can't reach them. Fast and efficient. Good advice. Engaged with customer from the start. Thanks Josh. Josh and the team at Rock Electrical did a fantastic job wiring in our new LED Lights, extremely professional, very prompt and very courteous and respectful, I think he left the place cleaner than when he arrived?. I’ve dealt with numerous Tradies over the years and the team at Rock Electrical are certainly by far the best I’ve used, well done!!!...
