09-17-2023 11:26Incredibly annoyed at the poor customer service I received today. My wedding dress was supposed to be ready to be picked up from being drycleaned on 30th January. I realised today that I hadn't heard anything, so called KC Unley Park to follow up. The girl I spoke to put me on hold to find out what was happening with my dress. She came back a few minutes later giggling saying they were still trying to find it because they have so many, and then put me back on hold. After a few more minutes she came back on the line and said that the bridal specialist would call me back as they were trying to work out where it was and what store it had been taken to as they have a lot of stores. I was not happy with this answer at all given that the dress is very expensive and has incredible sentimental value. It was disgusting to be treated so dismissively as if this was just some business shirt that couldn't be found. Not to mention the fact that I paid almost $500 to get this dress dry cleaned and boxed. I said that surely they must have some kind of tracking system to manage this and asked if they could look on there to see where the dress had been taken to. She said they did but the bridal specialist had a different system that they can't access. I then asked to speak to the bridal specialist and that I would be staying on the line until they could confirm where my dress was. I was put on hold again and finally a different person came on the line who was able to tell me that my dress was at the Brighton store where it was being boxed, even though I requested to view the dress before it was boxed (a service that they offered to me). She apologised and told me the specialist had not seen this request on the ticket. They are now sending the dress back to Unley for me to view it before it's boxed. I really would not recommend this company for your wedding dress dry cleaning - take it to a business that actually cares and doesn't see you as just another number. I would also recommend that KC give their staff some more customer service training. I do not think it's acceptable to be so dismissive about someone's wedding dress, especially when the dress and dry cleaning costs are expensive. Treat your customers better!!!

07-15-2023 05:28What a fantastic customer orientation. Forgot my Mont Blanc pen in my shirt, didn't know where I had lost it. Went to pick up my shirts, and asked if they didn't find my pen by any chance. The very friendly front desk person showed me a box with all the pens (30+) they found in the clothes, but my pen was not in there. I got my shirts, and connected to my shirts, in a small plastic back was my pen. How fantastic to have this customer orientation. Obviously the team members are very honest people, and most of the time that is a result of management creating a positive work culture. Thanks a million to whoever was involved!

07-01-2023 18:14This place is ridiculous, they charged me $96 to press 4 x T shirts and a two piece emergency service worker uniform. I get charged $36 for exactly the same at the Hutt St franchise. The 3 arrogant girls I dealt with there had no interest in resolving this, despite not being able to explain why pressing a clean T shirt costs $15. Very disappointing. As emergency service worker we normally get looked after, not ripped off.

05-11-2023 04:00I feel I was ripped off. I took ten CLEAN shirts in for the 5 for X amount of dollars wash and press deal. I told them I really only needed the ironing/pressing service as all were already cleaned, just wrinkled. I returned to collect my 10 shirts (2x 5shirt deal) only to find they’d, ‘found spots on a few’ that needed ‘extra attention’. No. There. Was. Not. The total had been raised by almost an extra $30 bucks! Gee thanks! No one contacted me first to see if this was okay. They just jacked up the price. How are they allowed to write their own price after our ‘consultation’. Absolutely nothing special about this deal or the end result. I even had to re-iron a couple as their finish was left shabby, nowhere near a work ready standard. A new iron is cheaper and gets a better result than ever doing this again.
