Gewürzhaus Spice House - Canberra Centre

Was looking for a tea 2 days ago, the younger staff was helpful but I feel the older one was a bit Intimidated. I bought Moroccan Mint tea u0026 heavenly good luck tea, not only take a look. It was not a good first experience for me.

So many interesting spices and herbal teas. I got some truffle salt and garlic salt. They smell good! Friendly staffs are very helpful.

Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful! The place smells amazing and has a broad range of herbs, spices, and specialist kitchen tools. Perfect place to visit to spruce up your at home cooking with their premixed spice mixes!

Lovely staff who are very helpfu and attentive. Great place for a gift for a loved one or yourself. I LOVE the feel good hot chocolate with ground wattleseed ❤️

Had a pretty awful customer service experience. One of the staff (owner?) took our spice bags from us without asking, declared they were below the minimum weight and started filling them up herself. She then went straight to the checkout with them and expected us to buy. Was very patronising when I asked if we could have less. I felt like I was being actively intimidated into buying. Possibly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I am sure it was the owner, because any ordinary staff member would have been fired by now if they acted this way. Shame, because the other staff were lovely and some of the spices are great. I decided not to get anything, and will probably not be going back.

Excellent staff and quality products that you can smell and taste. Keep an eye out for free samples of tea and wine!
